Customized Magi staff descriptions.

Im normally pretty confident in my customizations, but I'm really struggling with my magi staff. Anyone have examples of 'em to throw out there? The short description is what's really getting me.

At this point, I'm about to offer a commission to anyone interested.

Aegoth

Hewn from a single branch of an exterminated birch, the acrid scent of smoke still clings to the 

twisted form of this mage's staff. Jagged streaks of pitch mar the heat-warped surface of the 

charred timber, writhing along its contorted length. Turned on a lathe, the base has been shaped to 

feature graduated rings, creating a series of seven concentric steps. Flowing Mhaldorian script 

bites deeply into the pallid wood of each, the sweeping calligraphy emanating with a pulsing claret 

glow that stutters and shifts with seeming irregularity. Spiralling upwards from the rigidly ranked 

foundation, the withered limb tapers to terminate in an array of scorched vines. The tortured 

tendrils interweave, frayed into a forced curvature that crafts a spherical cradle. Trapped within 

the confines of the ovoid cage, a gout of elemental flame sparks and dances, the captured 

conflagration railing against the unyielding bars of its prison.

It weighs about 10 pounds.

Morthif

Polished to a reflective, obsidian sheen, a rod of blackened steel stretches to five feet in length. Runes etch within bands along the length of the rod, filled with electrum to contrast against the base steel. Occasionally a glimpse of thunderheads rolling across the surface of the staff can be seen, accompanied by the scent of heavy rain and static. Oiled and worked leather strips are wound around the middle of the staff, worn and moulded to the owner's grip from repeated use. Branded across the length of the grip is the word, "Fulmination."

It weighs about 10 pounds.
