With the fantasy genre rife with archetypes and tropes, I'm kind of curious to see what names pop into folks' heads for some of the standard roles. For an Achaean twist, I've added a few specific to the game. My answers in italics.

- (Eleusian Ranger Techs): Savira says, "Most of the hard stuff seem to have this built in code like: If adventurer_hitting_me = "Sarathai" then send("terminate and selfdestruct")."
- Makarios says, "Serve well and perish."
- Xaden says, "Xaden confirmed scrub 2017."

Tirac (This might be subject to some debate as I never had to fight Tirac. His character mannerisms, to me, were always of a perfect gentleman, but his opponents may not agree. Having said that, he was still the first one to spring to mind, with Trey a close second.)
The wise old wizard?
Hycanthus, or perhaps Beneficia. Most mage characters I've interacted with either only qualify for either old or wizard.
The healer/cleric?
Liliana, just because she would bless everyone in sight if she could.
The unwilling hero?
I feel like Parni best fits this category given what transpired. Don't know any adventurers that really would fit this.
The cunning villain?
Sabiru is my first choice, but only because I'm biased and I never really was part of any actual villainous planning besides raids. If I'm honest, Tvistor fits this category in style and execution to a T.
The rogue wanderer?
I don't know if he's in a city now, but Beya comes to mind. I liked how he would visit each city equally and spend time with them, that was the closest thing that I ever encountered to the travelling bard archetype. My character disdained him for his profession, but I respected him as a player.
The merchant?
Trey is the epitome of a great merchant for me, seems like there's no deal he can't work in his favour, and that's a combination of dumb luck, great cunning, an opportunistic eye and pure stubbornness in the face of unfavourable gambling odds.
The bookish scholar?
Beneficia, probably because she was obsessed over libraries and recording ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING.
The guy who blows up your party for no reason?
I can't believe no one has said Cain yet; he was the original, though Aegoth's certainly taken up the mantle. Then again, he would also blow himself up for no reason sometimes, so.
The mage driven mad by power?
Mage Cain is also who jumps to mind first for me.
The bard who can make you laugh and cry in a single song?
Probably Lyaeus. Adventurer bards...never met one yet. Well, maybe Tancred Lasalle, if he was a Bard. 'Final Resting of Travian Shea' is still one of my favourite Achaean works.
The feistiest dwarf?
Faur is the only one that I really associate with any kind of Dwarf roleplay. I generally dislike Dwarves - no real reason, just don't like them for whatever reason.
The gentlest giant?
Silvarien, probably. Soooooooooooo many artefacts but wouldn't hurt a fly with them.
The crazed barbarian?
I'm kinda stuck on this one. I want to say Cain again but Cain is on everything remotely 'crazy' here. OH - Bain! Their names even rhyme, it must be a name thing. But yeah his public posts were gold.
The noble thief?
It's difficult to say. Probably Tvistor, back when he stole. Otherwise, I think it depended on the day of the week - once Jarrel actually gave me back half of 600k after I told him it was for a license, but then got very angry at me and said he should have kept the gold cos I got him killed on his second incursion, so I don't really think that counts.
The Lord or Lady of noble birth?
Kaevan was always the epitome of nobility for me. So many people tried to emulate his aristocratic air, but only Kaevan really made it feel genuine - mostly because he's like that in real life as well haha. Otherwise, probably one of the many Cyrenian lords and ladies, mainly because it's easy to RP a noble in Cyrene.
The common peasant?
Anyone who isn't CR3 and above or in an aligned city is more or less a peasant to Jurixe. Haha I kid. (mostly) No one really springs to mind, but by definition this person would be extremely ordinary, so wouldn't have caught my notice.
The scariest Divine?
Sartan. You never know whether he'll approve of what you do or not, particularly when you're not a combat-type.
The most eligible Undead bachelor?
I really never looked at the descriptions for the undead (mainly because I don't go to the UW) but I guess Zsarachnor?
The old, forgotten knight?
I want to say August just because that sounds like an awesome name for a knight. Maybe Kaelin or more recently, Batista. Out of Mhaldor, maybe Shiro or Metzger. Aaseth? Hesa? Can't remember any more.
