Louisiana Flooding
Not really something I'd bother bringing to anyone's attention on a usual basis but I understand the heart and caring nature of most Achaeans so I thought some of you might be willing to help.
As some of you may know I reside in New Orleans, hurricane capital of the world, and we are often hit by numerous bouts of flooding, hurricanes, tornadoes, anything and everything that can go wrong with nature. Recently we had a massive bout of flooding in the area that has destroyed large portions of Baton Rouge, a place that is normally safe from hurricanes and the like.
In New Orleans most of us have raised homes, as we're used to flooding in some capacity or another. We mostly know what to do, where to go, who to talk to, and how to protect or prevent damage to our homes or loved ones. Baton Rouge is usually where we go when we need help, and they always come out to help in any possible way they can. It's only fitting if we find a way to return the favor.
The results were terrible. Homes destroyed or lost, children going hungry, with 11 people dead so far. If you can find it within your means to help out in any way I would, personally, appreciate the sentiment. Below I'll list a few methods in which you can help out if you feel inclined to do so and I would appreciate it if you told me what you did so I can personally thank you.
