I know, right? It's like having a goddess of hearths, a god of wine, or a god of communication.
I don't know whom you're referring to for the last, but gods of hearth/home and food/drink certainly befit "major god" roles more than lakes, rivers, seasons, and whatnot, which in traditional mythology are relegated to lesser immortals falling subservient to a greater divine with the related, more all-encompassing realm.
Maybe the Goddess of Rivers, if they make one, could be the daughter of the God of the Sea. Maybe they could also use the moon in some way, to reference tides or something.
I don't know whom you're referring to for the last, but gods of ... food/drink certainly befit "major god" roles more than...
Lord Phaestus has that realm already, which is why He wins.
"Trust in me, Universe, I will deliver / the promise that no-one shall ever / set their mind to games or play / for Serious Order is the way. I will not rest until it is done; / rules will be made for everyone. / They will know Order and its graces - and just like me, all shall be Greyfaces." - The Heroes of Sapience, Act 5, Greyface.
Clementius and Tecton both had pretty undeniable in-game (and in-role) presences, regardless of creation stories. Clementius's popularity, and the sheer emotion of his departure, speak to this.
Not exactly what I meant, but thanks for clarifying while missing the point. For some reason, despite what you just said, the powers that be wish to not have them as part of the official lore, hence my statement.
What about Lathis, Meletus, Anytus, Lycon, Aspania, Cardan and Aquinas?
My inclination is to draw the line after Clementius and Tecton, but... Yeah. Unsure.
Tecton is listed in the Help files in chapter 19 (Out-of-character), which makes me think he's just a mechanic, BUT within his help file it's said clearly that he's part of the Pentad... Not mentioned at all in chapter 11 (Divine) though.
SO, the line -should- be drawn BEFORE those two, but isn't out of respect.
Bal'met killed Kastalia when she tried to rescue Hermes. Daedalus, Mithraea and Matsuhama died, along with Hermes, when Bal'met used Hermes to blow up Krenindala.
Pentharian killed Apollyon in a 1v1 duel, which led to Sartan's return from the recombination of Apollyon's essence with Shaitan.
Selene was absorbed by Bal'met when she went to defend Lupus from Bal'met's advance on the Northreach, where Lupus was recovering.
Indrani was killed by Pandemonium in a duel during the battle of the Gods; Pandeonium fell to Keresis after Sycaerunax was resummoned by Bal'met. Melantha was killed by Sycaerunax, as was Mithraea, when they both charged him following Pandemonium's death. Pentharian fell to Bal'met during a duel with Sartan, and Tarah was killed by Sycaerunax as she attempted to flee with the Sword of Dunamis.
@Silas, maybe you just really wanted her dead and your subconscious is agreeing!
(D.M.A.): Cooper says, "Kyrra is either the most innocent person in the world, or the girl who uses the most innuendo seemingly unintentionally but really on purpose."
Aeyr is still alive (I think). He just like...dispersed all his energy throughout existence during the final fight. At the very least he still has an honours.
@Shunsui: With a shout, Aeyr is overcome by a throng of shadows, bestial minions sent by Bal'met. Holding them back as long as He can, He cannot hold out, and with an enormous outpouring of energy He releases His full essence across the multiverse, slaying the shadows in the blast.
Aeyr, God of Magic, has dispersed across the multiverse.
Not sure if there's some subtle distinction between "dispersed across the multiverse" and "dead"...

I'm just brainstorming here.

One of the symptoms of an approaching nervous breakdown is the belief that one's work is terribly important
Now get to work.
Is it the Mythos? Because that excludes Neraeos, Sartan, and really a good half of the pantheon.
Is it an events post? Because I totally just linked you to one.

That's all of them so far, I think.

Also missing Deucalion on the list.

Added Deucalion.
