Paladin Class Question

Hi, I'm starting over in Achaea after like a 5 year absence. I've been catching up on all the stuff that has happened. So the question I ask is which specialization is best for bashing, what is best for PvP. Also are venom combinations in order to set up a Disembowel still important or has it all changed? Sorry for all the questions, but looking forward to starting all over again!

SnB probably for both, for paladin. All of the knight specs are pretty viable; the most important venom while prepping is probably nausea since it gives parry bypass. (I'm not sure if it gives limb damage or not, my information could be a little outdated there, it gives affs though), besides Paralysis of course (smash mid for snb)

SnB gives super easy damnation kills. 2h damage with rites/inspiration/fury is a little silly, dual blunt is kinda stupid as well.

As Paladin, it really depends on which kill path you want to be able to take. DWC and SnB can Damnation and Disembowel, while DwB and 2h aren't going to be able to near as reliably. 2h can disembowel, DwB has it's own finishers in the kit.

Disembowel got changed a bit to be a bigger damage hit without torso damage, and an instant-kill with torso damage past a certain strength threshold (19, I believe). 

If you're wanting to kill with Damnation you're going to need to stick several kelp affliction to buffer a kelp prio before your head break. It isn't quite super easy, considering how long it takes SnB to prep and it's still purely RNG on whether or not you succeed. With that said, it's very viable.

Disembowel is a bit more reliable, and doesn't have as many chances for failure. Requirement here is strength. Paladin is lucky in that we get +4 from Inspiration and Fury, so you have some room to work with as far as how to get to one-shot strength. SnB is guaranteed a torso break as long as you use club, whether you break leg first then torso or vice versa. 2h doesn't need a torso break because they can break legs enough to get back-to-back disembowels.
