Svof clotting issue

As the title implies - for some reason, SVOF won't use clotting. Odd thing is, after being gone near a year, SVO (I forget the version, but I think it updated to the newest before I installed SVOF) wasn't doing it anymore either. I've changed nothing in my settings since returning, so they stand as such:
    o  Use clot.
    o  Will preclot bleeding.
    - Will clot if bleeding for over 100 health or 100 mana (and over 60% health)


Given that I updated to SVOF, I had to uninstall SVO completely. Mudlet hasn't changed (and is version 2.1). Any ideas?

My clotting works on Svof but mine has largely kept all my settings that I had when running Svo. Perhaps there's something missing that should be there and isn't?

Mine works fine as well. Just gags all messages related to clotting automatically.

@Kyrra As far as I know, those are the only three settings for it.

@Dominus Odd. I did check that it's not gagging the lines.

Okay, so, still no fruit on this problem. HOWEVER, I've noticed that SVO also doesn't want to Writhe. I suspected that it might be something to do with the serverside curing settings, but those appear to be turned off. Bug?

Are you using server side or not? Sorry, I couldn't read that from the statement here. If you use server side, you can configure with "vshow server" what should be handled by server sider/svof.

I am, but all it really is, is that I have serverside set for sipping and eating health/mana, with SVO's values on those just set to 0. Rest of serverside is disabled, and SVO is supposed to function as normal otherwise.

Better to use "tn ss" and then tick everything but health and mana in "vshow server". But most people will probably tell you that server side augmented curing makes you more resilient in general.

Weird, stopped writhing too. @Keneanung Your suggestion worked. Clots, writhes, etc. Downside - now I get pages long of priority reporting every time I log in. I've been told that isn't normal. By pages I mean stupidly long (http://pastebin.com/e751JA83 ). I'm happy that it cures now, but uhh, yeah that's a lot of spam for the logs.

As for serverside augmented curing...what do you mean by that? I assume just using serverside over SVO?

There is an option to gag prio swapping. It's in vconfig, if I remember correctly.

And yes, that's what I meant.

Found it. Thanks, and yeah I'm probably going to look into shifting more to serverside curing and get away from SVO a bit. Now that it's working, it's frozen Mudlet twice tonight for 10 to 30 seconds at a time. Which, it quits doing it if I hit the killswitch on active timers and triggers. Might just be my luck.

Where the circumstances where it froze similarly or had something in common?

What is this killswitch on active timers and triggers?

I believe the little bomb icon in the lower right bar of mudlet. Though I am not sure how that gets activated when mudlet is not responding.

@Rangor Keneanung has it right.

@Keaneanung Was basically pressing the button while it was locked, and waiting the minute for it to actually happen. Instead of it freezing, crawling, freezing crawling in a maddening cycle. Did it as soon as I deactivated the killswitch too.

Restarted mudlet and it ran fine for about 20 minutes, then happened again. Was hunting so I'm not sure if something set it off or not

Are you on the latest svof (version 13)? Because I fixed something that had symptoms like that.

@Keneanung Ah. No, I was apparently running version 12. Wasn't aware of a new version. Seems to work now so thanks much!

Edit: Also to respond to your question that I missed before: I don't recall what specifically started it the first time. Was during hunting. The second time I just deffed up, hunted a little more, stopped, and I think I was handing out gold when it did it.

I'm posting in the svof thread and the svof clan when new versions are out (usually 1st and 15th each month). If you are not in the svof clan in game, you should poke someone!
