War never ends. Why should it?

Tonight. Tonight we have our soft open for the brilliantly remastered Mother Courage and Her Children. Despite the up and down and up and down, as it were, I hope that those who can attend find the call to action. Bertolt Brecht wrote with the aim to influence audiences into a state of action, and this rendition is no different. The world is rife with inhumane action and it is our responsibility to move towards a brighter tomorrow.

War. War never ends.

Why is this status quo? What can we do to move towards a universal peace? Peace seems somehow inhospitable, and the very idea of salvation is an affront. Nations across the world have profited on the concept of war as an essential bolster for economy, and this is something we must all work to rectify. In light of the past two decades of terror from ideologies that are or are not not our own, we must pause to rectify the situation.

We are humans. There is no race, there is no religion.

We are the same.

Was there some big celebration for Mother courage and her children or something?
