I've just about extinguished all of my IC options on getting the descriptions for the Maldaathi house items. Just the descriptions, I don't need the actual items, unless you want to sell them. Figure it's worth a go asking here, too.
Here's what I'm looking for:
- blackened greaves
- blackened chainmail coif
- Mhunskin backpack
razor-edged gauntlets
- blackened pair of bracers
Unless
@Tecton finally wants to let me look over the Maldaathi news archive, since these were all player submitted items, I have run out of options.
Thanks if you can help.

a pair of armoured, spiked sabaton
These blackened, armoured boots have articulated plates that overlap to allow for walking and have a large spike at the front designed to disable foes with a stout kick.
It has 125 months of usefulness left.
blackened greaves
These steel greaves have been blackened with boot polish that reflect little. One rather large plate protects the shin, while another covers the instep, the entire ensemble is readily strapped onto the leg, outside of clothing and footwear. A black hand facing palm outwards has been embossed onto the metal which illuminates the alignment of the wearer.
It has 125 months of usefulness left.
a pair of razor-edged gauntlets
These gauntlets of gleaming black steel have been forged in the fires of the underworld and cooled in the blood of daemons. The armour embraces the wearer's arms and extends over the back of the hands, protecting the wrists. Stained the colour of blood, suede covers the hands and leaves them free to move without constraint. Three razor sharp blades thrust outward from the side of the gauntlet, like cruel feathers.
It has 62 months of usefulness left.
a blackened pair of bracers
Crafted of hardened steel and containing malevolent engravings, the superior workmanship is highly beneficial to the wearer and is designed to cover the wrist and forearm, while not hampering the movement or articulation of the arm. A single ruby has been embedded into the metal, to represent the scrutiny of the Eye of Sartan.
It has 125 months of usefulness left.
a Shaitanic scabbard
This scabbard is formed from the very essence of Lord Shaitan. Upon initial viewing you see its colour to be various shades of a dark red due to the blood oozing from it. The branded image of a Maldaathi Warrior is carved cleanly into the outer portion for all to see.
It has 120 months of usefulness left.
a polished ivory scabbard
Finely-wrought Mhaldorian bloodsteel forms the throat and chape of this scabbard, connected by a flawless length of polished ivory. Stained a rich lapis, cured mhunskin lines the interior of the sheath, protecting its contents against wear and rust. The locket is joined by two fine, barbed filigrees that swing freely between the leg and the scabbard, recalling for Whom the blade is drawn.
It weighs about 1 pounds and 2 ounce(s).
Hope you guys are all well. Back to the catacombs now.
Sartanic Scabbard Pre-Sundering.
This scabbard is formed from the very essence of Lord Sartan. Upon initial viewing you see its
colour to be various shades of a dark red due to the blood oozing from it. The branded image of a
Maldaathi Warrior is carved cleanly into the outer portion for all to see.
Sartanic Scabbard Post-Sundering.
Formed from the very essence of Lord Sartan, this scabbard glistens from a continuous oozing of
blood from its crimson surface. Crackling through the thick liquid, veins of fire burn with an
intense heat and illuminate the branded image of a Maldaathi warrior upon the outside for all to see.
Mhunskin Pack
At first glance, it would appear that this backpack is made from the finest leather, carefully
tanned and oiled to a brown deep enough to radiate a nearly black sheen. However upon closer
inspection, the grain and quality of the leather goes far beyond that of any ordinary craftsmanship.
The material was harvested from the skins of Mhun slaves before being treated, then sewn into a
backpack with two straps to be slung over the shoulders of the bearer. This gruesome and utilitarian
trophy is the mark of a true Mhaldorian.
Side note, I don't know who gave me this forum avatar, it was just changed one day.
Necromancy should not surprise.
Crafted from small rings of steel that are twisted and clamped together firmly, the laborious work
of many hours result in this strong mail coif. Replacing a helm, it covers the head and neck yet
keeps the face clear to allow proper vision. The steel rings have all been blackened with polish to
match the armour style of the dread Maldaathi.
