Mudlet Mapper doesn't want to play nice

Something's gone awry with my Mudlet Mapper. I've done a complete wipe of the map (uninstalled package, closed Mudlet, deleted Map folder, opened Mudlet, installed new package, restarted Mudlet) and it still doesn't want to play.

If I try to mconfig crowdmap on, there's nothing in the main display, and the error window shows:

[ERROR:] object:<Option> function:<Alias458>

         <[string "function Alias458()..."]:11: attempt to index field 'settings' (a nil value)>

repeat all those steps but before reinstalling the map script delete all references to map from the profile folder on your computer. then after you install. Reconnect to achaea then open the map. that fixed it for me

There are other map files besides the map folder. Also let me reiterate the first word

Repeat.

I'm not a complete noob! I didn't try just the once, I have tried a number of times, it's not working. Any file with the word "map" in it got manually purged, with Mudlet being closed and reopened so many times it didn't know whether it was coming or going.

Yes, complete fresh reinstall

Have you tried to see if it works on an empty profile?
