Summer Goals
So it's summer and I know that some of you, like me, are students and you're out for vacation and maybe you'd like to make a change this season. I feel like this could be a good place for people to put their goals (for summer) or for not, and then that way people can encourage them, and they're actually out there so they might get held accountable for finishing it. So let's post our goals and watch them get completed this summer, or by whatever deadline you set for yourself!
My Achaean Goals (to be done by the end of summer):
Reach Level 90
Learn enough and practice enough combat that I can win more than I lose (tough one)
Progress to "Ranger" in the Eleusian Rangers
My Real World Goals (to be done by the end of summer):
Run enough to run a sub 19 minute 5k next cross country season
Finish writing and recording a full length album
Make my outside dog an inside dog

- Be a comfortable enough combatant that I don't feel like I've lost before I start
- Play Achaea as much as possible
OOC Goals:Not really summer-only, more like by the end of the year:
Achaea:
Finally get Dragon. New hunting changes make this a definite possibility for me where before it just wasn't.
Get married and/or have children
Start customizing some of my artefacts
Real Life:
Just signed up for classes, after a 4 year hiatus. Hoping to have a 4.0 this time around. Thank you Achaea for giving me a drive for coding in a way that I never had before.
Take my daughter on a vacation
Find a better job that will work around my new school schedule
Penwize has cowardly forfeited the challenge to mortal combat issued by Atalkez.
New Achaea goal:
Have children to expand the Windsong name.
None - not playing at present
OOC Goals:
Get fit enough for RMC
Sub 20 minute 5k (1.5 miles under 12:30 then again under 10:30)
9:30 1.5 mile
100 pushups
120 situps
10 chin ups
Complete a 10k
Lose 25 pounds
Stay focused on what I want and avoid achaea (as great as it is/was it sucks all my willpower away)
Save for arties
Level more
IC relationship where we complement each other
OOC:
Survive my summer family trip to Alaska (more worried about my relatives than the bears)
Work on being happier
- Work with Jurixe and Ellodin to further the ideals of the Asterian Restoration. (Organizing events, etc.)
- Finish outlining the progression structure for Sartan's Order.
- Get an onager for my personal ship.
Real Life:My Achaea goals by September or so...
-finish the dance path and reach HR5
-work on a second path, leaning towards painting, cooking, or tailoring next
-work more on Order things
-aide some House things (Maestro, Security)
-aide a city ministry (haven't decided which one yet)
-reach level 95 (maybe dragon?)
RL goals...
-try to push through a medical accommodation to go part time at work, or hopefully get a shift I can stand to work more when shift bid comes up, don't have a lot of control over this though so we'll see
-put in more time at my second job, hopefully get two support groups up and running and do some educational events in the community
-finish writing this damn book
-read my way through the giant box of books my friend just sent me
-save some money for a trip in October
-edited! forgot to add, go out more and make new friends and reconnect with old ones. I am working on this already, went to a fun event on Saturday and have a coffee meetup this evening, I haven't been social in awhile and that needs to change.

OOC Goals :
Get promoted to Sergeant.
Convince Wife to play Achaea. ( Oh nevermind, better not. She would see prices of Artefacts I have o.o).
Don't die in a horrible plan crash. (Going to be on alot of planes this summer.)
Learning pvp and getting my head out of the damn script editor on mudlet needlessly changing things.
Reaching level 90 would be nice.
Interacting more and actually having a personality, a challenge for someone who is not a people person and never really rp'd before.
Real Life:
Damn work is killing me, getting off at midnight and staying up till 5am has my eyes always bloodshot.
I need a better schedule.
Spend more time with my wife.
Spend less of my already limited time playing Achaea to spend with my wife.
Can't wait until I can retire.
