How does the new ship furniture interact with org ships?

I know with regular furniture only the org leader (Example for Targossas ships: the Dawnlord) can drop them. Does this hold true for the new furniture released? 

I don't want Greys to take something out of the crate to realize that he cannot place it and its bound to him.

@Greys The crated items are termed furnishings but have no relation to the furniture setup as you'd purchase via Fronck, they're decorative pieces.

Most can only be placed on ships, have varying cosmetic value, and should be able to be picked up again by the person who took it from its crate.
