Im gonna have to go with Ashtan. My buddy here will tell you Eleusis, but that's a trendy pick. They've got elite talent, but is Rangor nearing the twilight of his career? They've got good starters in the trenches, but I'm not certain they have the depth to be a contender.
PK, you know, if you kill the other guy before he kills you, you know, you're doing pretty good, is what it is.
I had to go with Ashtan, because every time you wanna count the A-team out, Jhui go to hell-icheck comes back and lays a whooping.
Dont sleep on Targossas, either. I dont know too much about PK, but Silas said this novice out of Arcadian State can take some insane loads, whatever the hell that means.
By the sound of it, football commentary is exactly like rugby commentary. (I think John, it's going to be a game of two halves today. But in the end, the strongest team will win.)
This isn't a real poll is it? Easymode aka Ashtan has been strongest since forever, why would that change? You can give Eleusis OP abilities all you want they'll still be Eleusians and not give a shit outside major events like Y700
Ashtan has stockpiled a ton of artied PvPers over the year, so if this was a Vegas Sportsbook you have to make them the favorites. Building up an artied combatant takes a very long time, in 6 months a few artied player can start playing again and that changes the balance of group combat quite a bit.
Now if we were able to lock the rosters for each city right now, I'd might take Mhaldor as they seem to have the most new combatants who will improve even more in the next 4-6 months followed by Eleusis and then Targossas. Problem is those cities inherently have more player retention issues due to RP factors or things like I want to raid more quit city;agree;join Ashtan which only makes it harder for those smaller factions to close the gap.
@Achilles personally, I'd swap Eleusis and Mhaldor in the improvement scale over 4-6 months if the rosters stay static. Though this mostly depends on what timezone you're basing a snapshot on
Aurora says, "Tharvis, why are you always breaking things?!" Artemis says, "You are so high maintenance, Tharvis, gosh." Tecton says, "It's still your fault, Tharvis."

Could be, I personally haven't seen Team Green in action since they aren't inherent enemies of Targossas/Team Good (despite their recent attempt to do so)
I want to change my vote. I mean, Cyrene is great and all, and we'll be even more awesome when we hire the A-Team as our private army, but I want to live in Tectontopia, where I bet I could have an adorable clockwork pony with falcon hitpoints.

The only times I haven't heard some iteration of 'You know, you wanna score more points than the other team' were when I went to the damn stadium to watch the game live. Sports commentary is a bizarre, bizarre thing.

Well, you just have to sports as hard as you can, but the other team is going to be sportsing pretty hard too, and if they score more points, they win. So next time, what you have to do is try to score more points.
Well, I picked Ashtan but I think the gap is narrowing. Mhaldor is getting more and more organised in how they operate, and Eleusis has some really strong combatants. Seeing really good signs from Targossas too.
I feel like Mhaldor is almost there. Wish I was around more to help, but they have continuously showed improvement for a while now.
Eleusis has huge damage output and I haven't fought new Druid yet, but they've always been great with Rangor/Iakimen/Rom but not many others step up as much without them so I gave Mhaldor the one up.
Penwize has cowardly forfeited the challenge to mortal combat issued by Atalkez.
Look, just because you don't think cosmetics don't have a chance of becoming the strongest military in the game doesn't mean you have to knock others down for believing, okay. :c
Targossas is in that awkward position where no one thinks its bad enough to be made a joke out of, but also not good enough for anyone to seriously think we'd make it there. Hence, no votes

That's where people's comments are more enlightening than the "choose one only" poll
EDIT: I misread the title not seeing -achaean- years, and was posting to say it wasn't really an interesting question since the timespan is so huge. Sooo my vote doesn't count since it was made under false pretense, I probably wouldn't have voted for anyone.
i believe that the new collective bargaining agreement will bring harsher penalties to those who exceed the salary cap, thus attempting to introduce more parity to the league
but they'll be negotiating in 10 years' time so there'll be a lockout then.
And as he slept he dreamed a dream, and this was his dream.
In terms of size, Eleusis can probably compete with Ashtan in terms of having a strong/large pool of fighters but login times are usually centered around the EU time zones.
Ashtan are more synchronized with the affs they use in melee, so they are more efficient.

Who don't vote for their city!
Ashtan - 2:1
Cyrene - 8:1
Eleusis - 5:1
Hashan - 16:1
Mhaldor - 6:1
Targossas - 6:1
Rouge - 32:1
Could be more or less really but Ashtan odds are pretty stable imo

Rouge means something entirely different.
It's going to be big.
It ain't goan happen, but, who knows, Cyrene might flood across the lands and vassalize Mhaldor and Targossas.... it could happen.
When Canada rules the world,
things will be... nii~ice.
