Rogue Blademaster help?

I have been in and out of achaea for years now, and I finally think I can be consistent with the game to a point. I was wondering how hard it would be to RP a Rogue Blademaster. Each time I've played I've only gotten up to about level 21 or so. I'm curious to see what other players think of this path that I am going to take for the 4 (and hopefully final) time.

Being a rogue is tough, you have to make all of your own friends, commitments, and basically reasons to play the game. It's effectively Achaea hard mode. It might be especially tough given that you've never gone past level 20 or so, since you'll have to find your own teachers or learn things on your own, and build your own support network.

I won't say it's bad inherently, though - you could play a rogue with the intention of finding a house or city to join. I more or less did that with Nim - natural roleplay determined her class, her city, her house, and just about everything else. I started her off as an amnesiac who didn't have any clue who she was or who she wanted to be, and eventually she found it.

But even that can be tough, since things won't just happen for you automagically.

I'd suggest, strongly, that if you haven't pushed a character past 21 yet, you try it out with a City and House.  They'll give you a ton of resources and help that you won't get as a Rogue.  Then, when you're comfortable and independent, you can revisit the possibility of being Rogueish.
