General Questions guidelines. Read before posting please.

As long as you're asking for help as to how to do something or how something works, this is the place. However, please put class-specific questions in the class-specific forum section (below this one) and tech support questions in the tech support section. 

• Please start a new thread for each question, and please use the 'Ask a Question' option rather than 'New Discussion'. The former is available via the drop-down menu that defaults to New Discussion.
   
• When your question is sufficiently answered, please indicate so in the thread (you'll see an option to confirm that someone's post answered your question).
  Reason why: That way, the post that answers the question will automatically be the post underneath the first post, making it easier for future people to find the answer to the same question you asked.
