The key is the exp rate, gotta kill as many (viable) things as fast as possible so that when you do die, you've wasted less time. Or you could hunt more carefully and try to avoid dying cause dying op.

How I feel watching the Occultists at the bottom of House Influence with the Renaissance inching closer -
Aurora says, "Tharvis, why are you always breaking things?!" Artemis says, "You are so high maintenance, Tharvis, gosh." Tecton says, "It's still your fault, Tharvis."

Is there even any attempt to salvage their amazing history and lore through High Clan status? I'm frankly amazed at how low that House has sunk in its influence and roleplay efforts. Saying "Well, Babel's dormant..." is a lazy excuse too. The Revolutionaries of Chaos existed with prosperous RP for over a century before we even SAW Him return (and that was while working against the Occultist House!). Surely, the Occultists can pull something together to continue to spread His influence while He slumbers again.

Before the House became a paranoid, insular group of bullies (not speaking of the contemporary but the modern House), there were the glory days of actual roleplay, intricate rituals, collective rites that required the entire House to function as one. Out of all the Houses Bluef has been a part of, the Occies were the most exciting. I'm not sure if that's because I was the one administrating all the events in the Spirit Walkers, and thus out of the flow of the SURPRISE! factor or whether it was because I was so brand new to Achaea and amazed by everything I saw and experienced but there's a Bruce Springsteen song somewhere written about the way it felt to be part of the House then.
Oh, here it is (although I'm sure @Flair would prefer Born to Run):
