Gagging the smileys

In mudlet, I think I can just copy paste the lines and then delete the line but is it possible to do something like,
@o..

it will delete the rest of the line until it sees the prompt. 
I can probably also delete the prompt right after the smiley and then replace it with something like: You tripping, gurl.

Here's (basically) what I do. I adapted this a little from my actual script, since it ties into some other stuff that I didn't want to recreate, and haven't tested it in this exact form, but it should work.

Edit: that version doesn't gag the following prompt, but you can add a deleteLine() to the "Gag tripping stop" trigger

I always found it a good punishment of sorts, and an interesting mechanic. Why just not gag it? It is after all what happens after you deal with some crazy afflictions. It's part of achaean life!

That punishment can be afflicted by certain denizens as well, and it's super annoying. The problem with gagging is that you still get ten or fifteen lines of prompt unless you do it right.

I just replaced the gigantic smiley with a normal, but still colorful

Now that I have hue-shifting rainbow text, I will probably make the smileys that color.

It fits the general theme of what's going on, without being obnoxious.
