Thomas (or Tom, I forgot) the carriage driver was awesome while he lasted. You pay him a bit of gold, tell him your destination and he'll drive you there in Cyrene.
"Mummy, I'm hungry, but there's no one to eat! :C"
Lol I remember one Cyrene raid with Dethea where every time citizens got close we would just take the carriage to the other side of the city. Coin knows no loyalty.

Which is one of the reasons he was "retired." Thanks for that.
"Gilgamesh, where are you hurrying to? You will never find that [everlasting] life for which you are looking. When the gods created man they allotted to him death, but life they retained in their own keeping. As for you, Gilgamesh, fill your belly with good things; day and night, night and day, dance and be merry, feast and rejoice. Let your clothes be fresh, bathe yourself in water, cherish the little child that holds your hand, and make your wife happy in your embrace; for this too is the lot of man."
Could have just made it non-enemies only, you can't reasonably blame it on them! :P
The problem was, from what I understand, we (I think I was dormant at the time) also used him to get directly to enemies to keel them during defence. Which, while quite fun, I believe was considered unfair.
I also think his code broke him several times and they were happy to have a reason to get rid of him. I remember Beneficia talking about how he's "in vacation" sometimes while his code was getting randomly fixed for the upteeth time.
And I love too Be still, my indelible friend That love soon might end You are unbreaking And be known in its aching Though quaking Shown in this shaking Though crazy Lately of my wasteland, baby That's just wasteland, baby

In what Cyrene did you live where its citizens knew their way around?

Yup, but they sure can blame me for the baths becoming citizen-only
