Set Map Zoom on HTML5 client

I do not own a scroll mouse, is there a way to set a default zoom for the map on the HTML 5 client?  Seems the settings include areas wher eyou can put some reflexes and variables. 

Under reflexes Funtion onLoad I added setmapzoom(17)

Error "ReferenceError: setmapzoom is not defined"

An idea for people who do not have a scroll mouse or prefer trackballs.

Add a scroll bar to the right of the map to zoom in or out.  Even up/down arrow buttons would work.

Just a thought for possible future update
