"Faded away like the stars in the morning, Losing their light in the glorious sun, Thus would we pass from this earth and its toiling, Only remembered for what we have done."
Love Band of Horses, particularly their first 2 albums.

These guys have a (sort of) similar sound and very recently released this great single from their long overdue second album.
Found this lady when I went to Cleveland this week for the Social Distortion show at HoB. (she's so hawt) Her voice and music are amazing and I don't care if you like it or not.

Anyone else have an issue with these Grooveshark widgets not always loading in Firefox? Right now, two of the ones on this page are fine, and the rest are borked. Seems to be random which ones work on a given page reload.
This entire blog. Seriously. All of it. The music featured runs the gamut from the ridiculous to incredible. You will probably hate almost everything posted there. Your music taste will be stretched to its limits. I'm loving the "Suspiria" cover by Nilbog, and the concept behind Amil is Personal. I'll be up all night listening to weird crap.
My avatar is an image created by this very talented gentleman, of whose work I am extremely jealous. It was not originally a picture of Amunet, but it certainly looks a great deal like how I envision her!

Personally, I'm getting more into genres such as ambient, hip-hop, and experimental music. Personally, I love Animal Collective, Macintosh Plus, Joy Division, ASAP Rocky, and Wu-Tang clan. I recently started listening to The Antler's 'Hospice,' and I'm getting into more Death Grips.
Anyone here have a last.fm, or go to /mu/? I find both resources amazing to find new artists to listen to.

Oh god I love Fiddler on the Roof
KEXP live sessions are fantastic.
Here's a rendition of a Hall & Oates song including Daryl Hall himself - I feel it's much better than the original song.
