For you poor unfortunate people who don't play Targossian characters:


The hoarse grumblings of disgruntled animals filter past the shops and homes of Targossas, causing curious faces to appear at many of the surrounding windows.

The curt sound of a whip cracking once, then twice, slices through the air, loud expletives resounding through the streets causing many a fair maiden to cluck their tongues in disapproval.

Above the ongoing roars of the beasts, a loud voice is audible, "Move, you beasts, move!".

Finally, drawing to a shuddering halt, a wagon labouring under the burden of a huge tree arrives at its destination, and an oddly familiar face climbs down from his seat above the troupe of beleaguered bears.

Quickly unfastening the bindings surround the tree, the elderly man yells, "A tree for Logosmas, Targossas. Enjoy!" before climbing back aboard his wagon and setting the lumbering bears off once more.

Micaelis points accusingly at Triftee Twinkle.

"Oooooooooh!" Garis says, eyes wide with wonder.

You say in a demure voice, "You ask her nicely if you may purchase her baubles."
Triftee Twinkle eagerly licks her lips, a coy smile crossing her face.
Triftee Twinkle exclaims, "Beautiful, big, bursting baubles! A fine 'andful if I say so myself. Buy me charms, go on!"

You blush at Triftee Twinkle furiously.

Sothantos squints suspiciously at Triftee Twinkle.

You look surprised and say in a demure voice, "I do not think that is appropriate!"

Micaelis says to Triftee Twinkle in a clear voice, "I must admit, I do prefer the baubles you have to offer over my wife's."
Triftee Twinkle eagerly licks her lips, a coy smile crossing her face.

You have emoted: Tesha's mouth hangs wide open.

Micaelis says in a clear voice, "What, she has nice baubles!"

Carmell utters a prayer and smites Micaelis with a bronze mace wreathed in flame.

Micaelis frowns and says to Carmell in a clear voice, "See, your baubles hurt."

Micaelis struggles to fit wings of silvery glitter over his head, giggling as a torrent of glitter pours over his form.

Carmell looks at Micaelis in disbelief as she shouts, "Oh my GODS!"

Carmell Jaydde-Stormcrow, Caefir Priestess says to Micaelis, "You aren't sleeping in my bed tonight."

Triftee Twinkle says, "I 'ave lots of room in my cot."

Triftee Twinkle exclaims, "Just sayin'!"

Carmell's eyes widen in disbelief as she shouts, "Oh my GODS!"

With nimble fingers, Triftee Twinkle carefully etches the name 'Silas' onto a bauble. Triftee Twinkle hands a lavishly decorated bauble back to you.

Judicator Sothantos de l'Evanoir, Lord of the Crossing says, "I got him one already."

You ask Sothantos in a demure voice, "Why else would he have three stockings?"

blame that on Micaelis he got a mace to the face for that as well. In about 5 minutes time he got maced 3 different times for 3 different things.

Have to say, I'm really pleased with the way @Aurora and @Deucalion have been willing to introduce denizens like Triftee, Giles, Berunis and Melvin. They really add to the character of the city, and they stop people taking themselves too seriously.

Same with the Pericles ghost at Halloween. Good stuff.

I agree although I did have this huge urge to apply mace to the fact of Triftee. I applied mace to the face of Micaelis instead.

Agreed. Triftee Twinkle is hilarious and Melvin is a gift from the Gods.

I maintain that the Pericles ghost was offensive and completely out of character, though.
