Currently, the average ticket (you get one for every 10 credits) is returning approximately 2.5 credits to users on average, just fyi. (With huge variations. Many people win nothing. Some people win 100+ credits on a single ticket. Gotta have an eye for the humgii! (Protip: Check their haunches.)
Forget gambling. One ticket per humgii. Worked pretty well!
Place a ticket on every humgii in the race, and then come out with more money than the tickets are worth. Of course, if tickets had any real value that would make it more of an issue.

Yeah, I don't understand the question. Tickets are worth what a ticket is worth, which is the average output from that ticket.
We know what a ticket should be worth on average, and we track the actual results to make sure we're on target, which we are.
If you just bet one ticket on every humgii in a race, you maximize your chances of getting the average credit return from a ticket, but what fun is that?
Yes, because when you go to a track, they are trying to make a profit off you. When you bet on humgii racing, we're trying to give you something. By default you're going to get some credits, on average.

Yes, I got that...

I had tons of fun sitting at Sugardowns Fields (when I'm not afk, *eye* @Penwize) hedging humgii bets with @Jurixe, grumbling about her humgii rider punching my humgii, @Yang's random prediction of Double Time showing (which came true), and smirking at @Hasar's icewall smacking humgii which came in last.
"Mummy, I'm hungry, but there's no one to eat! :C"
And I love too Be still, my indelible friend That love soon might end You are unbreaking And be known in its aching Though quaking Shown in this shaking Though crazy Lately of my wasteland, baby That's just wasteland, baby
I'd suggest every half hour, with every fourth race being announced 5 minutes ahead of time with a flavourful shout, since I'd probably still go all day without remembering it exists, and missing it by a minute when I finally do remember.

Not only that, but I think of it like - if I was buying the tickets, I'd lose credits - but the tickets were 'free' and can't be used elsewhere, so a lower promised return is better for me than the risk!
If you value Mayan crowns at 30 credits per, at 10 crowns per 1000 credits that's a 30% bonus by themselves; you just have the added hassle of trying to sell them.
At 100 tickets per 1000 you'll make considerably more than 50 credits unless you make huge risky bets that never pay off.
If you buy more than 1000 but less than a multiple of 1000 total then you get less than 30% per. The worst would be something like 1900 credits where you'd only get 10 crowns, which is the equivalent of about 16%. At that point you'd have to win on a lot of your tickets to claw back the difference.
I averaged 3 credits per ticket, which put the humgii/crown promotion way up there on the "worth it" scale. I.E. ~70% credit bonus if selling at 30cr (low) and averaging 3cr (not unlikely) alongside Iron Elite bonus.
I really like the promotion, I enjoyed the free tickets and I am sure the 30 or so I am sitting on will be fun, but I am hoping that they can be made available in game through some mechanism, or a way to trade/sell them.
A couple thoughts I had were: Divine run events/contests Maybe a Cityfavour from the city leader would get you 1 (so it's still rare and not abused) Small amount given to the city with credit purchases or yearly or something that could then be sold back to the citizens make gold ticket that has a gold return but way less profitable a kin to casino gambling
I guess my thought would be even if the prize amounts were reduced and the ability to play increased more people would/could use it, other than those of us that purchase credits.
What about some additional tickets for loyal Iron Elite members who don't cancel their subscriptions even after going dormant for month long stretches Just sayin y'know >_>

Side question: would that eventually mess with the odds?

Good to hear. It was a ton of work. Pretty sure the producers on the other games were cursing me.
