I'm used to ignoring damage from Bards for the most part, so fighting Gamoneterik for the first time was like getting hit with a freight train loaded with cinderblocks. He'd killed me twice already because I just wasn't weathering the damage well, but I'd survived long enough this time to discover that he counts his torso hits and auto-applies (or has an alias handy). In addition, he's built like a brick house, (6000+) so I was going to have to preface the whole thing with a few runes to even have a chance, and had to time it all so it fit within rebounding's window of opportunity. I don't know why he paused so long after tentacle'ing me, but if he'd started jabbing earlier, I probably wouldn't have had time to pull it off. Or running/turtling when you see 2+ runes go down. There's definitely a health threshold where an unartefacted Runewarden is going to have real trouble taking you down without telegraphing his intent.
