I've heard it about weaving but never really confirmed. Anecdotally, I feel like I miss less against weaving serpents with hamstring up, but that's really not a reliable basis to judge.

Pit's long due to be removed due to player abuse. A skill that is too ridiculous to be used in Nish should not be in the game, period. Not to mention there are even more ridiculous uses of pit that I have seen then above, like pitting ship captains then sinking their ships.
