Timed delays

I've been trying to set up a script that will allow me to open all my channels as a Sylvan one after the other. The plan was to open one, set a time delay, to get back equilibrium and then have the process repeat. However I haven't been able to get the timed delay working. Anyone have any suggestions/idea's/help?

What client are you using? Without knowing that, it's hard to help much.

What I would do though is trigger the recovery of equilibrium to open the next channel instead of using a timed delay.

I'm just using the one from the website, I'm pretty sure it uses the Javascript langauge, which I can program in given a day to learn. 

And I thought about doing that, but was unsure of how I would set it so that it doesn't try to open a channel each time I recover Equilibrium
