Mudlet icons?

I've been thinking about dressing my Mudlet up some. What does this mean? This means buttons with icons. Here's what I have so far:

Does anyone else do this? And if yes, what programs are you using to create your own images? I'm using Photoshop CS6 x64. Ideas/criticism/whatever.

 It's a generalized picture, and the scimitars were better for the size than the rapiers.

I wanted to do this for my buttons in zmud. I managed to do 1 but got distracted from doing the rest. It's to turn my enchanting script on an off.  It's just a small pic of a wand. When it's off it has a red dash through it.

Buttons are for the weak. Real men use carrier pigeons to send messages uphill, in the snow, both ways, with instructions in morse code on what to have your character do.

That, or they connect matrix style.
