Minipets

I joined Achaea (returned) after Minipets were removed from the shop in New Thera. Was there a specific reason for their removal? Now you have to get lucky and random chance to get them in the rare globes of shifting content. Which makes getting a menagerie kind of difficult.

Could we get them back? I have a list of mini-pets I want, and have been searching for them in-game for RL months now to no avail.

The minipets in New Thera were never lasting. They would eventually die. I'm not sure what the removal was for, except for perhaps the ridiculous amounts that were around. All the permanent ones, even then, were from globes.

There are (or were) also minipets from ship trade deals, though I'm not sure what (if anything) is available now.

Animals currently available from ship trades are, as far as I know, a golden gryphon, a reticulated giraffe, a playful budgie, a grey cockatiel, and a Mysian parrot.
