  I changed line 11 of the script from
  

  send("TOUCH BackItUp|" .. which)

  to
  

  send("TOUCH backitup")

  and it got a bit futher, but it's still not working:

  Oh, you should make it back to how it was and replace the pipe character '|' with whatever command separator you have in use. You can find your current command separator character with CONFIG CommandSeparator

  You want to change the pipe (|) to whatever your in-game command separator is, rather than removing that bit entirely. I don't know if it will just work as two separate commands (resulting in a prompt between the "You have no backitup." line and the next one). There's also an error on line 7 of the BackItUp_Prompt trigger; it should be passing that function to tempTimer, but it's instead calling the function (which doesn't appear to return anything).

  Aha! No wonder if was going off so fast. And yes, the command separator is required. There cannot be a prompt between 'You have no backitup.' and the output of help index.

  Okay! @Klendathu, I've updated the thing. Remove what you have and get the new version. You'll want to look at backItUp.CommandSeparator on line 2 in scripts and update it for whatever you have in use.
