    I'm feeling pretty good.

    Of course, the electric company would decide the morning the GH ends is the time to do some maintenance on my street and cut the power, so I get to miss both the start and end of it (missed a big chunk of the first day because of work), but I've hit all the goals I was aiming to hit during the weekend, and I didn't burn myself out reaching them.

    Honourable mention also to @Karren for asking me if I was going to go to sleep (I did) because he wanted to himself. Was pretty funny.

    - With sharp, crackling tones, Kyrra tells you, "The ladies must love you immensely."

    - Makarios says, "Serve well and perish."
    - Xaden says, "Xaden confirmed scrub 2017."

    Haha, yeah, there's usually some of that in the top 5 especially. You sort of make a pact with the person below you if they are within reaching distance but you know they don't want to keep going.

    I knew I probably would be (have work again in a couple of hours). And I was breathing down his neck for a good twelve hours or so.

    Time to work on going Bard. Doing the entire GH in Dragon felt far too slow compared with the Bards and Serpents.

    When you told me 5 or 6 more hours, I nearly screamed. Was a lot of fun, regardless, if a little draining. Shoutouts to random messages from @Quisse and @Xaden for extra motivation!

    If you hadn't overtaken me again so early (about 5hours shy of the deadline) I'd have kept going and hated myself this morning.

    Got 8 hours sleep last night instead, and while I don't feel refreshed I can appreciate how much worse I'd have been had I stayed until the death.

    Certainly worn from that hunt but I had fun, I set two targets for myself. #1 explore all the caves. #2 get my next level. Achieved both and then went to bed.

    Wasn't planning to compete for rank so I avoided the primary zones scavenger hunt. Fortunately I found a couple zones that I was able to hunt 100% unchallenged for the entire duration and it proved consistent enough to get me through.

    Shoutouts to @Karren and @Sarya who I ended up feeding many a horn to.

    I'm really bad at this game, apparently.

    Plucking a tail from a poster of a plump humgii and taking a step back, you close your eyes and quickly spin around in continuous circles, before coming to an unsteady stop.

    Hands outstretched, you move forward and blindly pin the tail into the humgii. Your fingers press on flesh instead of paper, and you open your eyes in horror. Kez winces in pain before you, a tail pinned into her face.
    Hands outstretched, Kez moves toward you in slow, staggered steps. You attempt to move out of the way but, alas, are too slow: the pin stabs into your face, and you wince in pain.
