@trevize, never polish my post with your negativity...thanks in advance.
If you don't want a response, posting is probably a bad idea.
That said, negativity would be telling someone to give up on the concept they're aiming for. Being positive would be encouraging it.
Multiclass is an option, yes. It's not necessary. But it sounds like Kotaru can't use it right now, but it would help for the stated goal - well, be necessary for it. I'm all for that. It just won't be an immediate thing, and that's okay too (in my opinion). Goals are good!

I get the feeling you're one of those people who shouts "You just don't understand my art!" and ignore someone if they say something negative regarding it, aren't you?
My previous post was in no way trying to discourage someone. I am saying you don't have to multiclass for 1 skill. Just stay a jester. @trey...you have no idea who I am so I suggest you stop. @trevize, don't respond suggesting I am discouraging people, when clearly am I not.
Yes, it is a goal...I completely agree. Quit jester go for a class you love and 2nd class as a jester. ..in say 3 to 6 months...or pay the credits and do it tonight.

@Rip : dude, I am not exactly master of confrontation, but trying to thought-police the universe says something bad about you, not the universe. The universe doesn't care if you show it the finger. Most of these folks don't either. Just saying.

@Sarapis@Tecton -- After chatting with Lukan, realized that you're stuck with your racial specialisation with each class unless you buy the artie to change it which really sucks and limits your class choice if you want to be any good at what you're picking. Possibly give a little to the player base and allow a different specialisation within the same race along with the different set of traits with each class? This means they may not have the best possible stats without buying the gem, but it'll open their choices up a little more where they may not be the worst at a class anymore just because they're statted badly for it with their original specialisation. Just a thought!
@Kotaru : My advice for you would be to stop learning your Jester skills and just focus on saving up gold for credits and level up your character for extra lessons. Make as much use of city/house credit sales as you can and maybe start advertising to put on plays for donations/pay.
Once you have enough that would usually to get you far past tri-transing then leave jester, trans your new class and then take jester again for hocus pocus.
If I had the know how I would do the calculations for you on how much you would need to earn. But I'm quite horrible with numbers.
@trey...you have no idea who I am so I suggest you stop.
I don't really understand the trolling (I'm assuming this is a form of trolling) in response to Rip's comments. He did try to suggest other ideas before ending up with 'Just don't multiclass'. To be frank, I understand the importance of having a goal. But complaining about a new feature that just doesnt tailor fit my very specific need isn't something we should be ooh aah-ing. I would have suggested the same thing.
@Dairon, thanks man...I think stuff just comes off weird via text. Hope you are having a great night! Any ideas if you are going to multiclass? I am still overwhelmed with dragon...

Agreed. I thought we'd done away with this kind of thing on the forums. I guess it only applies when certain people are doing it.
@Bluef -Thank you, I am guessing they didn't receive "The Warning..." no biggie though, I am just happy I got a nice animated .gif out of it.
If someone is willing to buy an artifact worth 750 credits... (that's just a guess at the price for a staff of illusion.) Wouldn't multiclass be the better investment?
Thank you @Tael and @Bluef for putting it across more eloquently than I did.
I think these comments show just how many different ways this game can be viewed and played by its player base which shouldn't be anything but credit to what Matt, Justin and the team have created.
So I am level 103. That means I have my primary class and two extra class slots. Should I decide I need another class slot (not likely), and then later reach level 110 (less likely), do I gain another class slot or was the one I purchased the one I should of gained at 110?
@trey...you have no idea who I am so I suggest you stop.

Might as well respond, bored at work!
I can't speak for Trey, but I'm not encouraging the complaining - just telling someone it isn't as bad as it looks.
As for Rip, I just addressed that one post telling them not to multiclass (and his silly single-player-forums comment). The rest of his seemed on-point in terms of offering alternatives then confirming it'd be a good fit/goal.
Moving away from Rip...
Seriously, what's up with the 'I can't buy the Ferrari right now, I REFUSE TO DRIVE EVER' type responses? I've heard it in-game, seen a few on the forums, heard of a few from OOC friends.
Rip said: If someone is willing to buy an artifact worth 750 credits... (that's just a guess at the price for a staff of illusion.) Wouldn't multiclass be the better investment?
Everyone's suggestions are perfect...
I'm lost on context, unless you mean the jester above, but a few numbers:
Staff of illusion is 500.
If you like a class with illusions (such as the jester above and getting hocuspocus, or someone that likes serpent or magi) then multiclass is definitely the better route! Fully agreed.
The artefact has a place though - You're paying 250 for a slot, and the extra for a class at positions further up gets more and more expensive. Plus it locks out a slot and makes higher slots cost more. And has to be tri-transed before you can open another slot higher up (or quit and re-learned in the higher slot).

This. The difference between multi-class and all the major promotions in Achaea is that it has no expiration date and you can save up the lessons as fast or as slow as you want. You can take a year to do it, and no big deal. Promos such as credit sales last a month, normal Shop of Wonders stock for at least a few months, the Cart was only there for like a week. Multi-class is there from now to forever. If you don't have the money to buy credits in the next 4 months, you can buy the lessons when you do. You CAN have everything, if you're patient enough, and there's no need to ever again flush 450 creds down the toilet to switch class and lose everything from the class you had. 450 credits now gets invested permanently into your accumulated classes. If you think of it that way, I honestly believe it's not bad at all.
Probably same as if you've purchased it prior to swapping to a class with the darkbow ability - still has the shooting addon for if you change class again

Whoa. I was genuinely surprised when it went to zero. I figured it would at LEAST stop at 3 or 4. Color me mindblown.

It's cool that this exists.

I'll be straight, I'd pay for an artie that does this. Not at-will like a gem, but something that makes statpacks assigned by spec.
Or if that's not feasible because of reincarnations, then an artie that 'un-specs' race on changing class, allowing you to choose another.
