    Also, thanks so much for showing up to my sermon. I was really surprised, a little speechless, and extremely nervous, even though I had the sermon entirely written and scripted, right down to the timing.

    Little peacocks are fluffy golf balls. I also have turkeys!

    Agree with @Achilles. I like cats, but I'm much more a dog person than a cat person. The bigger, rowdier the dog, the better. I have a black lab mix who is so friendly she would lick an intruder to death, my mom has some mastiff/shar-pei mixes - big, wrinkly, drooly mutts - that I absolutely love, and I had a co-worker who has a great Dane that I'd love to steal. I'll see if I can get my dog to sit still long enough for pictures. Wish me luck.
    My avatar is an image created by this very talented gentleman, of whose work I am extremely jealous. It was not originally a picture of Amunet, but it certainly looks a great deal like how I envision her!

    While we are all showing off pet pictures, this is my dog Torpedo. He passed away about a month ago.

    Not having a pet, I could just set up a camera trap from my window and take pictures of what seems like every dog in the freaking town as they walk past the university.

    Is that a Shetland Sheepdog?  Never seen anybody else with one except me.

    It is! They are such great dogs, he was 14 and still as friendly as the day I got him.
