Credits or get the elite?

  @Degas : Elite is a much better value for your money but takes longer. When all the bonuses cap out, you're getting 25% xp bonus, 5 lessons a rl day and 150 cr a rl month for 25 dollars a rl month. There is no better value for your dollar, as you're paying roughly 16.6 cents per credit, which is better than the credit packages. You can max out your lessons and get cr for arties. The only drawback is it requires patience and you cannot have immediate gratification. If you are willing to be patient and especially if you have limited funds, I'd definitely go with Elite instead, and try to come up with 25 each rl month to keep Elite. Once you're getting 150 cr each month, that nets you 1800 cr a year, so eventually you'll get probably all the stuff you need on Achaea -- if you're patient.

  I'd go with elite because the credits and xp bonus will build up over time, but you can always put the extra money towards a credit or globe package in addition (people on market channel have been offering 140+ credits in exchange for 5 globes, which is a huge bonus compared to normal credit packages).

  If you're not in a rush, three months of Elite with that will be better value. If you can manage to login each day, you'll get:
  
  330cr (assuming you don't have the duration built up), which is ~$0.23 per credit, the best value you're going to get. It only gets better if you've got more months of Elite built up.
  
  ~450 lessons, which is another ~53cr in value if you don't have the max bonus lessons already, slightly less if you do.
  
  You'll get an experience bonus as well, if that matters to you.
  
  Elite is uncomparable value if you have the patience for it to tick up.

  Even if you want the credits immediately and don't want to wait a few months, it's still cheaper to get one month of Elite and then spend the rest on credits.
  
  For example, the 300 credit package is $105. If you instead get Iron Elite for $25 and 200 credits for $70, you get a total of 320 credits (because of the 10% bonus from Iron Elite) for $95, plus the 5% xp bonus and 5 lessons per day for a month.

  I assume you already got the 2000 no brainer lessons.  If not get that and 2-3 months of elite as others have said.  If you hunt to level 80 (or even better dragon) you'll pick up hundreds of credits for leveling, gold (to buy off CFS) and dragon talisman pieces.  You should trans all your class skills and a few general skills before pursuing artefacts anyways.

  I have to agree with everything everyone is saying about Iron Elite. It is the best bang for your buck and you get more out of every sale because the credit bonus stacks. 
  
  You level faster. You get 5 lessons per day on ALL your characters that you login. The only drawback is the instant gratification.
  
  One of the best ideas IRE ever had.

  Also don't be too hesitant to cancel it when you have what you want. I know a couple of people that ended up blowing a ton of money over a year because they didn't want to lose the consecutive bonus thing -- but assuming that doesn't happen, it totally is the best value you can get. I'd say stick it it at least until you're tri-trans + trans survival.
