My cat does this. Suffice to say that if he manages to get in far enough to lick you, his tongue is far more startling.

"Gilgamesh, where are you hurrying to? You will never find that [everlasting] life for which you are looking. When the gods created man they allotted to him death, but life they retained in their own keeping. As for you, Gilgamesh, fill your belly with good things; day and night, night and day, dance and be merry, feast and rejoice. Let your clothes be fresh, bathe yourself in water, cherish the little child that holds your hand, and make your wife happy in your embrace; for this too is the lot of man."

I remember reading somewhere that Toothless' design was actually based on one of the lead animation guy's cat! They were trying to do dragon movements and failing pretty bad, and then went with the cat's movements to help inspire.

And I love too                                                                          Be still, my indelible friend
That love soon might end                                                         You are unbreaking
And be known in its aching                                                      Though quaking
Shown in this shaking                                                             Though crazy
Lately of my wasteland, baby                                                 That's just wasteland, baby
  • @Melodie: Yeah, I heard that it was the case since they were going for a sleek, stealthy dragon.

We've probably done personality tests a few times now, but this is probably the best site I've found that has been the most accurate, descriptive detailing of the different types of people in the world. Unfortunately the tests on the site cost money, but you can probably just do a free test on another site (one with the longer ones, probably 60-70 questions) and then look here for info on whichever you get (since looking at the actual information is free, just the test costs).

    For me...

Bit long, but absolutely scarily accurate, down to every single detail pretty much, which is very strange to think of since there's actually a lot of information about each. I tend to keep a lot of this stuff in mind as I run into problems or need to get through something difficult, as it reminds me to take a step back and consider the proper way to do things.

And I love too                                                                          Be still, my indelible friend

  • We should make a personality quiz thread. Incidentally, I found this site while looking for a decent test for it and it's pretty good too, both the test and the results.

    I got INFP, the Idealist.

"As an INFP, your primary mode of living is focused internally, where you deal with things according to how you feel about them, or how they fit into your personal value system. Your secondary mode is external, where you take things in primarily via your intuition. INFPs, more than other iNtuitive Feeling types, are focused on making the world a better place for people. Their primary goal is to find out their meaning in life. What is their purpose? How can they best serve humanity in their lives? They are idealists and perfectionists, who drive themselves hard in their quest for achieving the goals they have identified for themselves."

Nooo thanks. Did mine several pages back.

  • For years I tested as INTJ/P, now testing as INFJ.  That said, I've come to feel that all of these tests, even the "pretty good" ones, which both of these sites are, are overly laudatory/flattering more than anything.  Big 5 will straight up call you neurotic, inflexible, basically tell you you probably have a disorder etc... and I respect the test for that.
