I think it's the whole ethos of "over sharing" on social networking, that's certainly what I was using it for, whether the real risk associated with this picture is there or not. It's a comical example to illustrate a point.
"Gilgamesh, where are you hurrying to? You will never find that [everlasting] life for which you are looking. When the gods created man they allotted to him death, but life they retained in their own keeping. As for you, Gilgamesh, fill your belly with good things; day and night, night and day, dance and be merry, feast and rejoice. Let your clothes be fresh, bathe yourself in water, cherish the little child that holds your hand, and make your wife happy in your embrace; for this too is the lot of man."
@Synbios it was a TV show here in the States that I (and those in my generation) grew up on. It was one of the things that made me love reading and writing and keeping my imagination.
Also, the guy plays Geordie La Forge on Star Trek: The Next Generation, so extra nerdy

Given that I have hoped that television would be more than just a way to feed waste matter from shows like Jersey Shore, seeing television finally being used once more to educate - a goal long dreamed of by long-gone humans who promoted television - gives me hope for this sentient species of fleshlings.

This may be the cynic in me talking, but give it time. For every show that educates, or is well written, has great stories and well developed characters there will be ten that follow the pattern of "OMG, she is such a slut! I can drink a beer in 2 seconds while still keeping me smoke lit. YOU SLEPT WITH MY MAN, BITCH! I DON'T CARE IF YOU IS MY COUSIN, HE MY MAN! OH YOU GOING GET IT NOW! " *slap, slap, hair pull, scratch*
Janeway: Tuvok! *clapclap* Release my hounds!
Krenim: Hounds? How cliche.
Janeway: Tuvok! *clapclap* Release my rape gorilla!

Hah, I used this very picture as an example in my training today. There was much merriment
Reading further on the girl's twitter, you find out that these are prepaid cards, unusable online. Just giving a belated heads up.
You have just ruined my life.

I like number 9, I am totally doing that to someone.
I know! Who the hell puts tomato sauce on what looks like 2 minute noodles. That's what the flavour packet of chicken stock/other flavour is for!
That looks like sriracha, not tomato sauce.
BigDawsTv's youtube channel is pretty entertaining.

11 hours to reach a million dollars. Reading Rainbow is coming back!
@Trilliana: I don't know what that is, but liked for reaching 11 million dollars in a short span of time.

Oh, yeah, I remember him. Actually, I think it was the creator of Mr Squiggle's birthday the other day. I recall the Google banner changing for it
That was Sriracha! A very delcious hot sauce from Korea! Blows the flavor packets right out of the water. OM NOM NOM!
