I'm guessing because there was basically no naval engagement so they discounted that part, + not enough third party influence and Aegis didn't get deeply involved So in essence the only real bet to win woulda been "Mhaldor wins" and like one or two others
Weirdest coincidence ever. @Taryius is such a bro for winning the auction for it.
Earlier in auction:
Pandora, the Wayward Heir says, "It is quite the historical find, really. I am sure you are all familiar with the sword Three Moons?"
Pandora, the Wayward Heir says, "Well, this is not that."
Pandora, the Wayward Heir says, "However, it is almost as important."
Pandora, the Wayward Heir says, "Wielded by a Blademaster of, some would say, much greater skill than that Lucaine fellow, he was unfortunately not quite as well-known. Fame, after all, does not always reflect merit."
Pandora, the Wayward Heir says, "I give, you then."
Pandora, the Wayward Heir says, "The scabbard for a sword that should have been legendary, but wasn't."
Pandora proudly shows off the scabbard for Two Suns: Black, hardened leather peeks from underneath two sections of solid gold to form a stately, almost ostentatious, scabbard. The aureate detail is embedded with a small fortune's worth of diamonds and sapphires, arranged in intricate patterns that hint to labour costs suitable for the material display of wealth. Each of the twin decorative ensembles is themed around imagery of the sun, stylised rays extending outwards from each like shifting, writhing tentacles. Though still magnificent, the great age of the sheath is evident, the ebon's lustre dimmed with small tears apparent here and there.
Later:
Taryius says to you in a harsh, rasping voice, "Show the world the sword."
Two Suns rings out brightly as you rapidly draw it from a battle-scarred scabbard of aged leather. You swiftly withdraw Two Suns from a battle-scarred scabbard of aged leather, careful not to stress the stitched edges.
"Oooooooooh!" Proficy says, eyes wide with wonder.
With evident regard, Aegoth makes the sign of the Seven to you.
Proficy says, "Two suns meets two suns."
Aegoth says, "Ah, the original and not-an-imitation Two Suns."
Adrik gives you an appreciative whistle.
"Ahah!" Paine exclaims triumphantly to you.
Silas flashes you a quick thumbs up.
Taryius gives the scabbard for Two Suns to you.
Taryius says to you in a harsh, rasping voice, "The proper home for a legendary sword."
That is not an ordinary star, my son.
That star is the tear of a warrior. A lost soul who has finished his
battles somewhere on this planet. A pitiful soul who could not find his
way to the lofty realm where the great spirit awaits us all.
Weirdest coincidence ever. @Taryius is such a bro for winning the auction for it.
I think it's an awesome coincidence in names too - Lucaine and Lucianus. You're practically begging admins to come along and be like "hey, wanna be Lucaine's long lost relative or something?" That's so cool though!!
Probably one of the last things I ever expected to happen did:
Chancellor Tianondria Al Qawi has been appointed to the position of Lumarch of Targossas on this day.
So happy and so...freaking out. I got this! *panic* Targossas. Thank you for believing in me @Aurora, @Lyndee, @Silas, and anyone else who may have had a hand in it!!
Channeling the fury of battle, you prepare to unleash a brutally swift stroke against your foe.
Drawing back a curved sword of shifting shadows, you unleash a flesh-mincing blow at a sleek black
werepanther.
You have scored a WORLD-SHATTERING CRITICAL hit!
You have slain a sleek black werepanther, retrieving the corpse.
Your soul cries out in ecstasy as it reaches new heights of power. You have advanced to level 123.
You have reached the illustrious level of 1st Degree of Supramortal Existence.
I'm not big on hunting optimally for XP, I just do it for fun and relaxation so that list has no plan behind it. It just is what it is.
Same, though lately I've been making a conscious effort to hunt more and work towards dragon. Just seems fundamentally necessary these days for a lot of reasons.
Sirocco is terrible for XP but with Talisman drops and able to drop moss use its a great easy way to build the cape charge. LHG is made easier with the Crit rate I get and Maya Figurine and hardly anyone hunts there, which is nice. I only started hunting Istarion again recently when I got the environment gem and I'd not explored the Tree in ages so headed up there and found some nice hunting spots.
I don't hunt UW or Annwyn and hate sailing, so islands are out.
I'd be very curious to see the slain list for the guys at the top.

Penwize has cowardly forfeited the challenge to mortal combat issued by Atalkez.

Also, elementals are my vote for best XP/gold to effort ratio, as long as you're careful and not just rushing into groups of them.
We'll miss you buddy! Hope you have a great time in Targ, and have fun playing Team Good!
Also @Stheno @Sartan @Dunn @Dalran @Mizik @Taryius @Proficy @Iaxus @Aegoth @Reyson @Jurixe @Eoka @Ellryn @Jomi @Saibel and anyone else I may have missed for being accepting of this little story arc. I appreciate ya'll, and hope there are no hard feelings! Love you all
