Halloween's around the corner. Now you can have any kind of facial hair you want!
Lol normally I rock a goatee or a little bit of scruff-tee like in that picture I posted. I fucked up with the guard on my trimmers when I was cleaning up the other day and ended up having to shave it all off. :(

    I feel...naked :cold_sweat:

I quietly turned 400. Also bashed a LOT. Stacked everything I had - Iron Elite, Great Hunt, the HAPPYBIRTHDAYACHAEA bonus and an elixir of life enhancement - then bashed pretty much non-stop for 12 hours. Started today at 113 and 12.5%, and now:

You are level 114 (3rd Echelon of the Paramount) and 35.1% of the way to the next level.

Awesome. I can't stay focused enough.

Focus isn't the problem for me since bashing isn't really that taxing; generally fall into a rhythm of moving and hitting F12 to queue up every single jab pretty quickly, and I can listen to (though not watch) the TV or listen to music while doing it.

However, physically I'm pretty ruined, so I really shouldn't be spending more than a few hours sat at a desk without moving, let alone barely moving for 12+ a day. I've done about 18 hours combined over the last two days (just over 12 yesterday, about 6 today), and I'm done. Maybe if the Great Hunt ended today I'd carry on, but I really don't have another day of the same in me. Will see where I end up placing based on what I've done in that time. Will be surprised if I stay in the top 10, but it might happen.

@Antonius : That's kinda the problem with this sort of thing... staying up till 4am and such is just not good for a person, and even if you meet your objectives in the game, you'll feel sick. I did the same as you, and I feel the same. I guess if it's once or twice... but I am glad Achaea is not one of those heavy-grind games like Maple Story.

    On to trade skills
  • As far as I know 11 (12 when the new class comes out) is the maximum you can learn due to city and alignment conflicts. Though I don't know if Chaos and Evil conflict; if you can pick up Alchemist/Occultist/Infernal/Apostate, you could get 12 now, then 13 with the new class.

Ashtani can get them, though. Just not while they also have Occultist.

eta: So long as they don't care about the high chance of being anathema'd, that is. They can get them.

    Nor do I.

I've been taking breaks, sleeping, and so on for the whole thing (plus missed the first 8 hours or so due to work, and have work about three hours after it ends). Sure, I probably won't win, but I didn't go into it really wanting to, since until the day it started I wasn't even sure if I'd be around at all. Any more just feels like punishing myself.

Although I will miss the Happy Birthday.
    - (Eleusis): Ellodin says, "The Fissure of Echoes is Sarathai's happy place."
    - With sharp, crackling tones, Kyrra tells you, "The ladies must love you immensely."
    - (Eleusian Ranger Techs): Savira says, "Most of the hard stuff seem to have this built in code like: If adventurer_hitting_me = "Sarathai" then send("terminate and selfdestruct")."
    - Makarios says, "Serve well and perish."
    - Xaden says, "Xaden confirmed scrub 2017."

  • Guess they fixed it and didn't say. Up until very recently Ashtani could still be Necromancers. Wonder if that means Hashani no longer can be either, or Priests lul.

You are level 98 (Lord of Creation) and 99.9% of the way to the next level.

Your score in the current Great Hunt is: 7717.
    Your current rank: 10

I cannot hunt anymore if I want to stay in this tier. Like not even one kill. Luckily though, I don't think I'll drop below fifth place. There's a 1646 point difference between myself and sixth place. Hoping that's enough off a gap. But guess we'll see.

Doesn't it determine off the level you were when you started? I wouldn't take my word for it, but I thought that's how it worked.

I did twelve-fourteen hours a day for 1.5 years to hit lvl 200, one of my friends did 18 hours a day. Pretty ready never to do that again.

@Datrius it definitely USED to determine by what level you were when you started. Annoying to see they've made that change, but I guess it would be unfair if someone were sitting right on the edge of dragon. My sympathies.
    Huh. Neat.
  • Feeling bad for the sub-61 tier. I took a protege out hunting last night and she went from 47 to 58 in an hour. Seems like sub-80 would be better.
