    I'm doing my undead drawing for the competition and i'm basically drawing Slith completely from how I assume he would appear...since I have never actually had a look at him. So far he looks kind of cool. Im pleased ^^

    Pro tip: don't fight one of the two prep mages in the world (Aegoth or me) as DWC knight. You can't attack at all with one broken arm and with how often you get a single arm broken by golem or staff strike, you have to run every few seconds just to slow prep. It's obscene.

    Took me way too long to realize. Swapped to SNB (that can attack with one broken arm and no it's not a bug per Makarios) and the fight was a quarter of the length in my favor. Finally. 

    Mage. Not even once. Good fights tho. Never been on the receiving end of that class in recent times.

    I know it "doesn't make sense" for some of them, but in terms of combat balance all Knight specialisations should be able to attack with only one arm free. For a start, Knight is one of the few classes still hindered by a single broken arm, and it's odd to have such a huge difference between the specs (Sword and shield being able to attack with one arm free). Might just classlead it and see what happens.

    I did the lead already. It's a serious bummer that DWC can't... Those fights would have gone a lot better for me if I could actually make venom progress. Kept having to stop attacking and he would cure euphorbia. 

    Its some shit to see two staff strikes before a single DSL because I'm hindered so hard by prep.

    It can be pretty obnoxious against monk, too. Not that monks need better prep speed in general, but it can be really frustrating when you're trying to start your finisher and you're down a single limb. And if you're tying to hit a target who's mounted and parried, then losing a single arm makes it impossible to get a hit in on that limb.

    With the exception of those two circumstances, it's probably pretty balanced overall, but I hate having to step out of the room and catch up just to try and get a window where I can use a full combo.

    Today I renamed my ship from "The Peach Tree" to "The Blood-Curdling Caw" and then happily sailed out, fresh-faced, bright eyed and hopeful into the waiting arms of DEATH by Artanis and some ship flying a flag that everyone knows is a pirate flag on sight except people that have been dormant for 2 rl years.

    Then I got slightly woeful at the fact that I had to redo everything to do with ships including SPPs and consecration anyway, until I was not slightly woeful anymore and then had a Cool Time when the Mariner's Guild invited me to be their peeps, and then my new peeps @Anaria and TheRestOfUs raised my ship for me and I spent a bit of time getting really tired trying to figure out the correct number of shipmates and crewmates and what I really, really want to achieve in life, and whether really, deep down I just want to get to the point where I stop trying to achieve things and am just happy to be me all the time.

    Then, I logged onto the forums and realised a few things, being that a) I need to change my signature to promote my new project/music/website/RecordLabel because one of the reasons I changed the name of my ship is because it's a COY reference to my rl music, which is a project I've now tucked away in the past in favour of, strangely, a new musical project by name of Gamoneterik. I stopped in the middle of writing the post to reflect on how intensely meta-meta this all is, and concluded at the second realisation b) which is that WHEN THE FU"CK did our city start paying so much for bounties? And I'm totally getting in on that sweet creed whenst I awaken next.

    Then to bed, and the land of my actually really nice life, which has partly to do with rediscovering that Achaea is always here, and I am always a nerd at heart.

    thanks to some awesome advice, I looked up the ur'vamp plushies to get a general look for them. The look is generally new style vamp, not old-school demonic.

    Except (in my experience at least) bashing with others makes you slower, in terms of experience gain.

    Unless everyone has -everything- scripted, in which case one person is pressing f2 and for the rest of you Achaea is an online chatroom.

    I might feel shame about leech if I considered bashing to dragon a worthwhile accomplishment that I'd take pride in, rather than mindless rote work!

    I feel a lot more pride in things like  not having someone else give me their automated afflicting offense because I couldn't do it on my own, because that requires actual thought.

    As a people leader I've sent people to the ER. If I need to call the SO to come get them I'm at liability. I call the ambulance.
