Saeva lashes out at Proficy with a marriage proposal, but misses.
Saeva brings a marriage proposal crashing down on Proficy's left hand. Proficy twists his body out of harm's way.
Saeva smashes Proficy with a marriage proposal. Proficy quickly jumps back, avoiding the attack.
Saeva mutters words of matrimony and domestication, and suddenly the ground breaks open all around as beringed hands of pudgy flesh and unreasonable demands push out of the ground. Proficy leaves to the >>>>east.<<<<
@Halos : ah, so Mhaldorian matrimonial advances have served the cause of recruitment for Creation?
Why not just have pets not drop when you die? I don't know why they even do in the first place. It's not like it risks anything. It just makes ridiculous clutter and people to kill them. Which is no real consequence it's just a very, very, very mild inconvenience.
It gave you a good excuse to atlatl me to death though
Getting a crap ton of messages about them dying is an annoyance. It's not a big deal that they die since they come back, but all the messages! Ugh. I just cleaned up my messages too.

See! Horns! Monster.
But Satyri have horns? (Pretty sure @Jukilian is not one however)

Bashed some, died to Seragorn cuz I forgot to put mass up and got boomeranged (this is what happens when you don't fight rich people often enough) into his room, then got a couple bounties done.
I fixed the (hopefully) last bug in my gmcp aff/def script for svo, and got svo loki predictions for serverside working too. Woohoo for no more (*knock on wood*) issues!
@Ahmet If you're predicting afflictions from Loki, are you also accounting for the fact server side doesn't handle false predictions properly in a lot of cases? Broken legs from Loki still aren't recognised correctly (despite bugs being marked as fixed in the past), nor are they cleared correctly when applying fails to actually cure something (I usually run into this when in blackout, since that's also not communicated via GMCP). That and recklessness are the only two that need explicit handling (and recklessness is cleared correctly), from what I've personally seen.
@Antonius what do you mean when you say it isn't communicated via gmcp? The blackout itself? Or just the fail to cure?
And there's several afflictions that I've ended up stuck with through loki while hunting because serverside just refuses to recognize that they're there, not just reckless/breaks. Even if they were the only ones, that's reason enough to have it!
And no, I've got no handling for leg breaks in blackout currently? Not sure how one would go about that properly, actually. Do echoes work in blackout?
My general detection for Loki leg breaks is pretty simple: If I see the line for not being able to stand because legs are broken (all my attacks, and most of my other queued commands, start with STAND) and don't already know about a leg break (broken, damaged or mangled), I predict brokenleftleg (Loki always breaks the left leg first, from what I've seen). That's fine without blackout because I have GMCP communicating non-Loki breaks.
However, the blackout affliction itself isn't communicated through GMCP (I've got a bug filed for this already) nor are other afflictions when blacked out, so if I get a legitimate right leg break in blackout, then see the line for not being able to stand, my system will predict an affliction I don't have (brokenleftleg), causing an application of mending that fixes the broken right leg, but then continues to spam applying mending afterwards for the left leg too, rather than recognising on the first wasted application that I've obviously made an incorrect prediction. I used to have a trigger for that (back when I used crippledleftleg, which is a synonym for brokenleftleg and had bugs of its own) which I deleted because I didn't think I needed it any more; I've been lazy on adding that back in.
I'd be curious to know what other afflictions you've had issues with from Loki. I've been using server-side and GMCP affliction tracking for months, and the only ones I've had to add explicit checks to my system for are recklessness and brokenleftleg. Everything else is either recognised immediately because there's also a message along with the generic Loki one or are picked up and cured correctly based on symptom messages (not being able to smoke, not being able to eat, etc.).
Did the closing gala for the auction. We raised a ton of gold and the gala was fun with people from lots of cities coming by. Had way higher attendance than I expected for a Mhaldorian event.
Sunk two ships in two days, got to try out a lot of the new seafaring stuff, woo. Also been trying out the new trades, really like the half-trades, though of course some are better than others.

CONFIG LOYALSLAINMSG OFF When a loyal denizen is slain, you will no longer receive a message if you are online (although you'll still get a notification)
No such luck if your pets are in an enemy city and you're offline though.
A frenzied cleric screams, "Like more than one halo!"
I was in the middle of an honors quest and Achaea crashed! (Or something. Can get to other websites and this website but not www.achaea.com or the game via mudlet or telnet. Bah!)

Good on @Regi and @Gamoneterik for being good sports about it!
So sweet. And I got him as a protege now and he's all excited about learning new things. Yay
I have been told this is a Mhaldorian rite of passage, so woot!
I also got my first cityfavour last night, so that was pretty exciting. Glad to see hard work is getting noticed!
