I always thought it was negligible too. Then I became a forest enemy. 11% damage that goes through shield every 10(?) seconds is not negligible. I can't even bash nighttime kelpies in Annwyn anymore cause forest defs make it just a tad too risky.

Delete/nerf exterm and remove forest defs already! We can pick a fight with Eleusis like we pick fights with everyone else!

Annwyn of all places confuses me.

Sure, forest.

But it's hallmarked as a lawless place -- so essentially you're not offered the protection of your divinities (I suppose favours still work though so I guess it's a moot point) -- but I still don't think forest defs should be a thing there. (Or anywhere but whatever)

I wonder if the forests will issue you if you exterm after dieing to them in annwyn.

Lots of firsts last month. Got to go sea monster hunting and participate in raid defense.

Not really sure how to contribute as BM when your team mainly uses LoS though as spamming hamstring/prone doesn't have the same effect when it's just you in the room. I might try requesting duels outside the city next time while hoping the other guys and team green are equally sporting about it.

Was great fun though

Evade in and Annihilate into ally totem or evade and Thunderstorm spam. Get 2 or 3 of them from full shin, can't recall perfectly.

I thought about Evade/Annihilate after the raid ended but was told it wouldn't work since walls/block stops movement.

From full shin (100), you could get three thunderstorms off since thunderstorm and blizzard costs 30 (annihilate is 40). And if you're the only person going in, you don't have to worry about hitting your team either.

Had my second/first real experience with ship combat. Props to @Jinsun for the conversation afterwards. While my character is fairly pissed about the underhanded tactics you're using, I got to say you're smart for using them. That it isn't just "Give me your coin or sink" and is instead "Here's what I got, here's what you can do to not have this" I really appreciate as a player. Not a "fun" moment of the game, but it is this very diversity of real situations that characters can get into that makes me love the game. Thanks for playing the rougher side of life @Jinsun

Was playing around with vials in Cyrene's pottery shop, and ran into a little bug during the process. Not too worried, I just went on and submitted a typo, kept trying some other designs. About five minutes later, I added a quick append when I figured out the actual issue. Within a minute, I had a ghost (haha) ordering the same vial I had found typoed in the shop, except it finished properly. Then Dalinor handed the vial to me and:

The Divine voice of Dalinor echoes in your head, "All should be well with the potter! Please don't mind my intrusion to make sure she was better-trained in her art!"

You tell Dalinor, "Haha, startled me a little, but all good. Thank you very much! That was a really quick fix."

The Divine voice of Dalinor echoes in your head, "We do aim to work quickly where we can! Do let me know if there are any further issues with the potter, she has been somewhat persnickety in the past. Otherwise, I hope all your adventures go well!"

I got distracted before I was able to reply again, and by that time he was invisible again, but I was just super impressed not only by the speed, but the graciousness of the Divine. Fixing bugs and typos is often so thankless, so to take the little bit of extra time out to not only fix it, but offer actually handle it in such a pleasant manner, is really a lovely personal touch. I had a similar experience when I bugged a bazaar item a while back (the shop denizen ended up sending me a letter with replacement items, which was just excellent), and those kinds of touches really are noticed.

So in hopes you read the forums, thank you! Your work and effort is noticed, and appreciated.
