  I crept closer and closer to having full House membership again, and finally made it to Meropis with the help of @Adan. I then proceeded to fight off pretty much an entire continent full of wildlife trying to murder me.  I was glad I packed extra health elixir for the trip.

  Somewhat surprisingly, yes! That said, I'm pretty tanky for level 82, but not quite a bad enough dude to take on a group of angry grizzly bears. Thank goodness for Reflection.

  I will say that from what I heard, the situation with Mycen was not as straightforward as it seemed, and people had their reasons for voting for her. But given that I heard this secondhand rather than from the source, I won't go into too much detail and say something that might be wrong.

  Today I reached level 50, converted 27 bound credits into lessons and died 2 times Also I reached house rank 2 and joined the Eleusis Rangers and Eleusis Rangers Tech clans.

  Today, I tried the hookshot system with Ellodin for the first time. We managed to get both ships stuck in place (I could not turn the ship, row or set sails, or get rid of the tethers by chopping them). I sat there, not knowing what to do until Meletus stepped in to move the ship temporarily to a space adjacent to a harbour. Thankfully, I could still dock. Whew!

  Decided to buy some globes for my 21st birthday (since I'm still in the hospital).  Bought 5.
  
  Literally got nothing but 18 humgii tickets, a stone vial, 16 sips of lucky, and 28 credit.

  I finally made it back from Meropis after successfully navigating the Tears of Sarapis without assistance.  Still a few places left to explore over there, but not ones where I was confident I could fend off the inhabitants without getting turned into a statistic. Overall: Neat place. Can't figure out any of the quests, though, and I tried quite hard on a few of them. Might just be bad at quests, though.
