@Penwize it seems to respawn at the bottom of the lake, perhaps as a result of particular quests in the valley, or maybe just on a per-month basis. I'm not sure.

So, first of all I explored the new area which was lovely and then as I wander towards the lake I get absolutely stomped by that behemoth which was even lovelier. I return home to find that @Severina got a ton of lovely things from the bazaar

If he kills you for a legal contract, just issue him. He's already gotten a bad track record, and the admin are very likely to take you seriously on it.

So is HELP PK containing the actual canon info as of present day?

I am confused as to when things changed and what the actual rules are now other than "don't be an ass" which seems pretty easy to follow.

HELP PK is pretty current as far as I know, there'd be too many issues and confusion if it wasn't. Some people just don't like to follow the rules sometimes. Some still follow the old rules for whatever reason, but it wouldn't hold up for them in an issue if they take it too far. I still have seen instances where known PKers/combatants will take things from Annwyn/UW and seek redemption outside of treacherous planes, although the scrolls clearly state you cannot.

Sounds like bullshit. You were dueling outside of the city so I don't see why city sanction has anything to do with it.

That gets a bit murky. Just because Mhaldor is raiding, does not automatically grant him the right to slay any uninvolved Mhaldorian. The only real question is: Were you involved in the raid? If not, then he's absolutely incorrect. If so, then that has more questions to it.

I was, but the tank was disarmed and everyone was in back Mhaldor when he asked for the duel, I'm not even sure of the sanction was still active. Even if it was, seems like an excuse to me.

Only if you were in the city at the time. If you're not participating in the defence and you're not within city limits, then you shouldn't be killed, I don't think. At least, that's how it was explained to me. Probably best to leave the issue in place and allow admins to clarify the decision.

Yeah, he's just PK lawyering at this point. Damn, I thought that art was well dead. Zamora joins Mhaldor and raids Eleusis. Raid ends, Mhaldor is back in the city. Troven picks up a bounty put out on Zamora, asks to duel, Zamora agrees. Troven kills him once, continues to try and kill him a second time despite Zamora refusing/saying the duel was over. Kills Zamora a second time. Zamora puts a contract on him for the second death. Contract succeeds, Troven says he's going to kill Zamora twice for the contract.

The raid has nothing to do with the fact he challenged you to a duel with a bounty, and he's just trying to make it seem excuseable, thus "PK lawyering". I stand by my original suggestion.

Troven was enemied to Mhaldor not even for raiding or anything usual, but because he came into Mhaldor while I was distracted writing a performance for an event, and killed me three times. His reasoning was "Well, your citymates do it to me, so I guess this is revenge for that."

And that's just -my- experience. This is absolutely not surprising behavior from him.
