What Jonathin said. Participation and enthusiasm pretty well trumps someone like me, say, who can fight competently in 1v1 but almost never participates in offensive -or- defensive raids.
I'm just asking Jhui because he was leading the raid and he was the one we were targetting most. Plus he seems like a pretty chill guy outside the game so I figured he wouldn't mind offering advice. Also I'm pretty sure he's the one that stripped my cloak defense, summoned me and got me killed.
Finally found an architect to help me build my house, because as far as designing goes, I am pretty certain designing house rooms would be a really weak point for me, and I'm too overly critical with my own work. At least now I've hired someone I'm confident in, and will be happy with the work done without second guessing myself that it might be bad or something.
Technically last night. Was doing the Shield Ledger. I get sent an end of year total for gold/credits before I balance them against the logs of the previous year. The total credits I was sent was about 600 credits above the current credit totals per the maths. Cue minor panic mode.
Come to find out that the Logistics officer (COUGH @Aaseth COUGH) transposed some digits about before sending them to me. Even better, I have been doing the Ledger for enough years it is starting to look very pretty in my individual notepads and the shared google sheet. I love organisation.
Cue nervous waiting! Nataliia took the plunge (also technically last night) and said fond farewells to Cyrene and the Shield. There are some really awesome people in both. The slew of "sad to see you go" comments really made me feel good (and sad), but they meant a lot. Thanks guys!
Now... onward to new paths, new friends (possibly), new enemies (undoubtedly), and some good old-fashioned conflict. Huzzah!

Ashtan raided Targossas last night. The last time they raided I was killed while minding my own business, so I figured I might as well try to help, even though I haven't been in combat since before my long sleep. We tried to start a kai group but that didn't work. I thought maybe I can help via telepathy. I'm not totally sure whether I was helping or just being annoying. Thoughts, @Jhui?
Plenty of room to get better but it definitely was affecting me if that helps
Died twelve times and lost a full level today. Feels like with Jester I have to try twice as hard and I get half as far, but the problem is I'm having fun.
I did not think it would be as nerve wrecking as it was to present things before an audience of Atavians in Genji today, because to me the experience took things to a whole different level compared to presenting before a bunch of adventurers. It feels like if your explanation is weak, they'll be able to pinpoint it and use it to stump you.
But in the end, it was all really fun to do it with my fellow representatives.
Did the foozle just because. Placed 5th, no surprise. I always forget how cripplingly slow it feels when you can't use wings, warp stick, and armband of celerity.

The timing! Phew, just made it.
So uh, unless I did my free spin since Serenade today, the above has made me incapable of spinning the Wheel. I technically spun the wheel before Serenade, and for some reason after Serenade and at least an hour passing, I cannot spin. This is despite my testing directly after Serenade and having it tell me I needed to wait 60 minutes before I could spin.
I did an ISSUE ME about this but have heard nothing back in response yet... @Makarios@Tecton what's the go here? Unforeseen bug?
I'd guess that the spin counts when it finishes, rather than when it starts, so you didn't make it in time; tokens are, if I recall correctly, consumed when the spin ends and you receive the prize, which further suggests that's the case. However, the check for whether you've played enough comes before the check for whether you've already spun the wheel, so you'd get the "You need to play for 60 minutes." message, rather than the "You've already spun." message, immediately after that (since the play time counter resets at the serenade).

Difference between you and me is I don't need kills.
In teams you get the lockdown super fast - honestly, just swap to fashion into throttle spam as soon as the aeon drops and you have affers in the party. You'll also make up your xp off of duels once you're set up and comfortable. The combat style is super, super unique so it does take quite a while to settle in.
Once you have your defense down and realize you can survive anything, you can calmly line up your trick kills. Have your trick A, that then punishes into trick B, etc. If fighting vs hyper offense, or anyone really, open up the fight with a Death and just keep it in your back pocket, using dust bombs or puppet blackout to force them into halting their offense.

You've been pretty awesome to play with so far. I don't have qualms with you. But nobody here is going to support you killing a novice because they weren't being fast enough for you. Nobody. Well, maybe @Aegoth. But nobody else.

Got my first bounty completed today! Was a good fight, @Xaden.

Also, weird how there's no distinction on that label between the actual HL, and just a member of the triumvirate.

Shit, sorry we intercepted yours.
You ask Taurus to repeat the oaths of citizenship after you. He does, and you admit him as the newest, proudest member of Hashan.
But in the end, it was all really fun to do it with my fellow representatives.
And you won't understand the cause of your grief...

Finally, that took a lot of hunting. So on to dragon now?

Still think Tzantza is f-ing sexy.
