Just a suggestion, but delegate! No need to do it all solo. I'll definitely help out and I'm sure others will, too. You've got this!

So frustrating. He ordered 200 of each ink from me (except black), then retired his character without paying me for it. Pretty sure I've sold ink to him before with no issues, so it's frustrating that he went and did that. Never again trusting anyone in a business transaction unless it's a really close friend.
If he only ordered the inks from you, but you hadn't delivered them yet, it's a bit annoying but hardly seems like something worth abandoning all business dealings over. You can still sell the inks in a shop or directly to somebody else. If you already gave him the inks, why didn't you also receive payment at the same time?

I sent them to him, he said we could do the transaction over letter or in person. I've done plenty of transactions through letters with people without a single issue. He'd logged in since then obviously, I'd asked a citymate of his. He'd been around a bit before retiring himself. I'd even sent him reminders about it.
Seems like an unintended outcome of the system to be able to evade defaulting on payment unscathed. Issue it?
Yeah I did. I mean, plenty of times I have let people just send in orders, I send them what they ask for, they send me payment whenever they show up and get it... or if someone is not on mainland but wants something I'll send it and be like, "Hey no rush, go ahead and pay me whenever you have time when you're back on the mainland." Like I'm always very reasonable about giving people time, so it's just kind of frustrating to be taken advantage of.

So the results of this were disappointing... and again why I won't give someone the benefit of the doubt anymore.

1/16/19:08 (To Anytus): [To Anytus] So there's no way I can get my inks back? I
doubt the intention of the retirement system was for these people to be allowed to
scam others. They had also tried to buy a bunch of plots from Ashtan before retiring
their character, too.

1/16/19:12 We would encourage you to read HELP SCAMS to familiarise yourself
with what counts as a punishable or illegal scam. We have systems in place precisely
to prevent what happened in this situation from happening. It is unfortunate it
occurred but it is not something that requires administrator intervention.
200 of each color except black at 50% off Rurin's prices, so 95k worth of gold. Though the loss of the sale sucks, it sucks more that it was a lot of reagent gathering and inkmilling is also such a time consuming job. Just frustrated at the total loss of work it took to make all those, especially the gold ink, that's a lot of gold flakes!
Gamden decided to be a complete sweetheart, though...
Gamden gives a group of 200 gold inks to you. Gamden gives a group of 200 blue inks to you. Gamden gives a group of 200 yellow inks to you. Gamden gives a group of 200 purple inks to you. Gamden gives a group of 200 red inks to you. Gamden gives a group of 200 green inks to you. "Eep!" you scream in fright. You say in a silvery, elegant voice, "But baby..." Gamden Obuun's breath sizzles as he says, "If achaea cant look after you, your husband can." Gamden winks knowingly. Gamden Obuun's breath sizzles as he says, "But nothing." You say in a silvery, elegant voice, "Awwww, okay that was one of the sweetest things you've ever said to me."
To be honest, unless you for some reason especially love gathering reagents and inkmilling, I can't see why you'd even bother as a dragon. Likely took a lot more than two hours to gather them and you could make a lot more than 95k in that time.

It's good supplemental income, and sometimes hunting grounds are wiped out since only certain areas are worth a dragon's time. I also shopkeep, so it's good stock to have. Not sure why I have to justify why I mill ink, I'm certainly not the only dragon who does it. Nor should I be criticized for doing it, and it doesn't make what Skual did right.
Bard just murders everything. I can do Sidhe, Unsidhe, day and night kelpies, dwellers, lake fairies and a decent chunk of the animals in the forest in an hour.

That's where Skye posted them, if the link still works. Was super nice of her to share. Makes diving so much easier and more enjoyable.
This made my day. I needed something like that!

What is life right now. Four days ago I was level 87. Is this really happening?
