Your timezone makes me sad.
and that is why I love my timezone! Half the time nobody's around so I can go bash anywhere I want, the other half of the time EVERYBODY is around!
Aurora says, "Tharvis, why are you always breaking things?!" Artemis says, "You are so high maintenance, Tharvis, gosh." Tecton says, "It's still your fault, Tharvis."
Makes me glad to know Mel's not the only with a lame dad! :P

Instead I can pretend I was fathered by a wealthy prince in a faraway kingdom that has lots of totems.
(D.M.A.): Cooper says, "Kyrra is either the most innocent person in the world, or the girl who uses the most innuendo seemingly unintentionally but really on purpose."
On the plus side, it allows all of Sapience to refer to me as "that bastard Nagaraja" without a hint of malice.
One time, my proteges talked to me about my bloodline:
abridged version
Proteges: Mr. Synbios, Mr. Synbios!
Synbios: Yes, padawans?
Proteges: We looked at your bloodline and it was woefully empty!
Synbios: Why, yes. Yes it is.
Proteges: Mr. Synbios, Mr. Synbios!
Synbios: Yes, little blades?
Proteges: Why don't you have any family?
Synbios: Hm, let's see. Probably because I'm not interested anymore in discovering my lineage. Or I'm already close to hitting 300. Or I don't want to get embroiled in family drama. Or MAYBE I WAS NOT BORN LIKE MOST MORTALS - MAYBE I WAS SPRUNG FORTH FROM THE VERY SOIL OF LOOM ISLAND AS AN ADULT, FULLY ROBED AND READY TO FACE THE WORLD WITH DEATH IN MY EYES, MY HANDS BLOODIED WITH THE GUTS OF THE FIRST GOBLIN THAT DARED TO CROSS ME, AND MY LEGS KNEE-DEEP IN THE BONES OF A THOUSAND UNFORTUNATE ZOMBIES!
Halos, riding a giant tortoise, leaves to the west.
You look up into the air for divine inspiration.
You whisper to Carmell with a flowing, cultured accent, "Run."
Carmell looks about herself suspiciously.
A nearly invisible magical shield forms around Carmell.
You say to Carmell with a flowing, cultured accent, "Halos is trying to impale you."
You say to Carmell with a flowing, cultured accent, "With his spear."
Halos, riding a giant tortoise, appears, a look of love in his eyes.
A massive, translucent hammer rises out of Halos's tattoo and smashes Carmell's magical shield.
Halos throws a soulspear at Carmell, but it does little more than startle her.
Halos scoops up a soulspear.
Purifier Halos Vorondil, Caefir Priest says, "How does one operate a weapon of this infernal make?"
Draqoom Van Helsing asks with a heavy Ulangi accent, "May I see it?"
Halos narrows his eyes at Draqoom in an unnerving manner.
Halos gives a soulspear to Draqoom.
Draqoom Van Helsing says with a heavy Ulangi accent, "I have some experience in those."
Draqoom leaves to the west.
Micaelis says in a clear voice, "But you require the soulspear ability to actually throw it with enough daemonic force to propel it through my lovely fiance's face."
Purifier Halos Vorondil, Caefir Priest says, "I probably lack that."
Micaelis nods his head emphatically.
Draqoom arrives from the west.
Draqoom Van Helsing says with a heavy Ulangi accent, "It refuses me."
Draqoom gives a soulspear to Halos.
Purifier Halos Vorondil, Caefir Priest asks, "What did you try to do with it?"
Purifier Halos Vorondil, Caefir Priest says, "Don't agree to that. I was just--."
Halos stands up.
Halos hurls a soulspear west.
Draqoom flutters his eyelashes at Halos.
You say to Halos with a flowing, cultured accent, "What in the name of the Garden is wrong with you?"
Purifier Halos Vorondil, Caefir Priest says, "It's gone. Too late."

So bad that I was not really paying attention was trying to fix food for the family came back to see he'd done this. Darn Targossians that have been spending time beating on me while I stand around in Targossas. Ordermates, Citymates, fiancé's I mean really?
A small bit of background on this quote. We had a few break ins at the Sylvan Househall a few (almost seven) years ago. I'm sure everyone heard about it, especially with the MC crystal attack. Because of that, I hadn't gone down to the stockroom for awhile. But, when I did, I got this note:
Sylvans,
I noticed that your stockroom was unbearably cluttered and untidy. I have since taken the liberty of cleaning and organizing it. As you can now see, the stockroom is now pristine, and I expect it to stay that way for some time.
I can't always be around to clean up after you--I am hardly your mother. Please try to keep your spaces more organized. After all, the amount of devotion you spend to organization and cleanliness is a direct reflection of your leadership and the strength of your people.

I could almost stand getting stolen from more often if it came with notes like this!
