Does anyone know of some Druid logs which employ Hydra?
I'm curious, as I've never seen one fight
I don't have logs but it depends on what the druid is trying to do! I used to damage Kenway out with Hydra Flame breath, Hydra clamp, and Hydra snap all in a single action. If I was preping a limb I'd Swingstaff;clamp. Then morph Ice wyrm and cry as people dodge break chains. This is all one on one granted. Hydra has a lot of neat tools but most of their uses were not very effective. Also it's been so long I may of missed something.

@Exelethril awesome that you 2v1'd me in Annwyn, then criticised me for having totems in Annwyn. Why do you think they're there?
Also, did they hit you, ever? No. Are you enemied? No. They're actually there for one person (a massively artied monk), specifically, who has made it his hobby to jump me while I'm bashing. Those totems completely solved my problem, and they hit no-one else. I don't see any issue with it at all. If I tuned them against non-Ashtani, or a bunch of people I don't have cause to attack, that'd be one thing, but that's not the issue at hand. I'm not going to argue about it anyways, since you've made it 100% clear that you're going to disagree with anything I say, regardless of what it is.
edit: Forgot to mention: Way to handle this in-character (percieved) problem the right way: By posting it on the forums.
Oh @Kuy Hydra is pretty sweet and works crazy well with fast weaponry (Dirks) and Shatter. Can do cool stuff like swing staff/leg clamp, leg clamp/shatter, hydra bind/shatter, stampede/bind (best initiation ever), and can do some neat stuff with afflictions if so inclined. They have third head group balance caloric strip and freeze on first group if that gives you any ideas, it's a pretty fun looking Morph.
I can't believe I die so easily to that - You're not even choosing your venoms. T_T.
You die so easily to that because you haven't changed your curing even though I told you how 20 times! No envenomable venoms are going to contribute to freeze-pound kills so I just held down my (Curare/Clumsiness/Oculus for butterfly) macro, turns out I had already spammed my curare/prefarar alias for trying to kill Alcinae earlier and didn't remember to wipe it down. Yeah I could have envenomed more optimally (like not overlap paralysis, not throw oculus when unblind, etc) but it's a bit different as Sentinel when you have to choose your venom so quickly, I have systems in place to do that when I need to but this was not one of those times!
@Rom yeah I have. Changed it a lot actually. I don't die to pound anymore, and rarely to heartseed. Honestly it's the limb breaks that I'm having trouble with these days.
And if you're prepping legs/torso, wouldn't epteth be great?

Epteth can be really good since you throw faster than mending balance as Sentinel. If I had thrown epteth on the arm break and then tripped ASAP, by standard curing he would cure crippled arm and then apply resto to leg, this would end my freezepound setup. To make it beneficial I would have to throw epteth and wait for him to apply mending and then apply resto to arms before I tripped which would net me a little bit more prone time but can also be a double-edged sword. The only way you can freeze-pound someone is if they don't prioritize caloric correctly, it's already a gamble to try the setup on someone whose curing I'm not sure about, so if I do the epteth trick then they cure out of it even if they prioritize only shivering over legs and not caloric, since I'd usually get the second freeze right before resto to legs in that case. This leads a to a latency war if they have shivering > legs, and in the end isn't necessary in the 2-limb setup since the extra half second of prone time makes no difference, they either live and walk away or they die to the pound. Not to mention it would give like another half second of reaction time to the arm break where they could walk out or do whatever, but he was off balance in this case so that's moot.

Ahem. Firstly: You have used these totems against me, and I'm pretty sure I am neither Ashtani, nor an artied monk.
Secondly: you initiated conflict by jumping two dragons yourself, nobody forced you to do that.
Thirdly: you then brought @Jinsun to make it a 2v2. (Which I thought was pretty fun)
Fourthly: He/we did resolve it icly. We killed you. Situation resolved.
Not to start an argument, I'm just correcting his memory lapses.
@Alrena re: totems - The totems I had put in are purely defensive. If you hit the totems, its because you were chasing me (which you were, and not alone). They are in the most remote, unused rooms in Annwyn. Also, after the agreement we came to, I haven't enemied you (or anyone, actually) since. It's real simple, don't attack me, and they don't exist.
@Alrena This is why I have totems in Annwyn: (not that they helped at all in this case... but if I somehow miraculously survived this, I would have headed straight to the totem to phase and gtfo)
You have slain a Fomori of Unsidhe, retrieving the corpse.
A large pile of sovereigns spills from the corpse.

Last post I'm making about this, I promise.
I chased you, and not alone, because you attacked us FIRST. Again. You can't expect people not to retaliate when you open hostilities! That's even worse than complaining about being attacked in Annwyn. If you don't want to be teamed 2v1, then don't attack a group of two people by yourself. It makes perfect sense to defend your hunting buddy, or yourself, depending on the case. If you don't want that, then maybe you should just let them bash the Sidhe and be done with it. It's fine if you want to attack them, but that's your choice, and you should expect people to try to kill you for attacking them.
I will admit that you have not used the totems since, against me. I have nothing against you, and I like Annwyn because you can get into a fight there with people. I've enjoyed fighting against you and whoever you bring to make things even, but you really can't expect people not to try and remove(smudge) those totems that are indeed a real threat with only your word that they won't be used (again) against them. That's all I'm saying!
The point I'm making is that they won't hit anyone who's bashing, even people I have enemied. And since 2v1 dragon rend / bite spam, 1-shot enfeeble/axk, and retardation/triggered snipe is 90% of the combat I see these days, I don't see how having a totem in a secluded room to defend myself with is anywhere near as aggressive or "lame". I'm just trying to stay alive. And yeah, feel free to talk to me personally about it, if our previous conversation didn't settle it already.
Well, given that you don't really seem to realise how something as
simple as the abuse flag works, it's understandable that you don't
realise how those totems are lame.
Continue flagging, though. I'm sure it'll help to make you smarter.
PS. Seems the totem didn't help vs @Earionduil and @Bonko, nice try doe. )
If only it was just Bonko & Earionduil. They're just this week's retardation snipe gankers. It's been that way for as long as I can remember. (probably doesn't stop them from thinking they're clever)
edit: I idea'd something a while back about making the retardation vibe cause arrows (and/or all projectiles) to be "slowed in time" and essentially fall to the ground. AKA get rid of retardation/snipe, since everyone but Bonko hates it. -shrug- This isn't a rant, please don't go postal and start complaining about me "complaining".
@Cynlael I'm just going to flag every post that you make towards me that's offensive. Pretty simple, I think.
@Shecks: Next time you decide to post. Please take a long moment to think, "Gee. Is this a good thing to post? Or should I just go ahead and click this button instead ?"
The idea that if you jump a group of people bashing and lose, you're entitled to go find an extra pal or two and try again til you win, and that it's somehow in any fashion legit, is pretty lol. S'fine to do it, of course, just sitting on a high horse about it is pretty funny.
@Rakon I would really appreciate if the forum admin(s) would actually enforce the rules, instead of letting trolls like Cynlael (who the hell is this, anyways?) spend their time poring over "recent posts" and finding new, creative ways to call me an idiot, every time I post something.
