Monk - minimum viable shikudo, for bashing

I've already been told that it's ideal to visit the Grandmaster with lessons in hand to immediately Trans Shikudo. I'm curious, however, because I noticed that I learned the basic skills for bashing very early in Tekura, if Shikudo is the same way. What's the minimum viable skill set for effectively bashing with Shikudo? Do I really need to learn all of it if all I'm doing right now is smashing denizens all day?

    Since damage scales off of lessons learned, you'll want to learn to about Mythical which is roughly where you stop getting more damage (or very tiny increments, if anything).

    To bash with Shikudo you need to learn, at bare minimum up to Risingkick.  That covers your first stance Tykonos (one must be in a stance to use combos), your Kata, and your base skills needed to use KILL to bash.  You'll also learn Gripping, and Shatter for shields, in the process.
