  • Snb isn’t all that bad for hunting now if you aren’t min/maxing to severe degrees. It’s still on the much lower end but it has enough defensive muscle to do the slow and steady bash big things route. Not one I would recommend, but if you have fun slowly whittling down brick walls go for it!

    It's fine if you like being worse than most other options, and therefore making progress at a much slower rate. The defensive abilities of Sword and Shield versus the other four specialisations are overstated, in my opinion; Knight in general is tanky, a lot of denizens - especially in higher level areas - don't do physical damage, and a shield isn't reducing physical damage by that much anyway.
