DW Traits
Greetings, fairly new to achaea but loving my short time here so far, Im currently a human champion for race and a depthswalker for my class, ive read through most of the threads in the dw category but couldnt turn up much on traits - from what ive figured out in game, balance is what my attacks use not eq, so i assume nimble would be my first pick at level 20 but after that one, I have no idea what i should pick up, I have a SoA , Lvl 1 Dagger and Lvl 1 Crit Pendant - I want to learn to be helpful in raids and take bounties in the future, if any of that information will help you guys give me a hand in selecting traits.

Nimble: As you already worked out, the majority of your core combat abilities use balance; you'll want the trait that reduces that.Robust: Damage from reap/cull scales with strength, but the scaling isn't that great. A lot of Depthswalker damage comes from afflictions, capstone effects and Terminus abilities (e.g. shadowmadness, retribution, degeneration capstone, Tooros). You could pick Improved physique, but the benefit isn't large enough, and you don't have the artefacts, to make that a good choice. Constitution is always good. You could also consider the Receptive body trait, which increases the healing from health elixirs.Health Inspector: By the time you've taken Nimble and Robust (or Improved Physique, or Receptive body), a lot of major traits aren't available options (they're mutually exclusive with the two traits you've already chosen). Health Inspector is the best of the ones still available to chose from (it's not even close, Health Inspector is an amazing trait). Depthswalker has some great burst damage potential, between Tooros + cull + degeneration capstone and mutilate; knowing when to use it is important. If you're considering Mind Warden (because Depthswalker has dictate, and that requires knowing what their mana is at), don't. You can use contemplate off balance, the equilibrium is short enough that you should still recover it before balance even without a faster equilibrium artefact, and pretty much no Depthswalker attack combo contains other equilibrium using abilities.5
