    Havent had time to play, but finally got 4 cases done at work that have been dragging on and have since started a week long vacation at my FL house to meet contractors and go through some plans. 

    Spent the day mowing 3/4 acre w a non-self-propelled push mower with a measly 21" blade (and no legs) and then jumping in the pool.  Pretty nice day all around.

      One more contractor to meet tomorrow ( out of 4, 2 didnt even show up for the appointment.  Cool, I HomeAdvisor'd them w 1/2 star) and then I can log in and play Achaea.

    Been a bit absent but that's because I got promoted! My 6mo working period got waived and I went from a Claims Rep I to a Specialist I (three pay grades up). I'm hoping to come back and play soon since all I've been doing is working.
    I'll probably be shifting over to Starmourn, seeya there!

    The sky is raining, work is therefore not like working in an oven, all my service users were in bed by 11.30pm, which is the first time in a while that there hasn't just been someone sleeping on the couch. This means I can do all my work,including the lounge as there is no one bloody sleeping in it. 
    I can also watch tv once the jobs are all done, and this helps make a 10 hour shift go faster. 
    So I am currently sat on the reclining couch, with my laptop, playing achaea, with one ear open for problems whilst sipping a coconut latte. 
    We don't use the Q word, but we can hope for a peaceful time. 
    I say we.. night shifts are a solo shift.. so royal we?

    Had to go to Florida house for 2 weeks to meet contractors and do some repairs.  Managed to install a security system, cameras tied to system, second set of cameras for the outside of the house that cover every square inch of property (8 cameras), fix the central AC, have it inspected for any other faults, have my pool pump repaired, replace the timer on my water softener, mowed the lawn (4 hours, no legs, 3/4 acre, non self-propelled push mower, 95 degrees, RealFeel 105!).  

    Got back and the case I finished writing up before I left was 73-ish pages and I was fearing the Tech Review (normal case is about 5-10pgs).  Got back and it is just a report that needs some love because I didn't summarize the other evidence that wasn't able to be examined or did not result in evidence for the case (just put a general "other evidence was examined and didn't contain...").  I even got complimented by the Supervisor (who reviewed the case because it had so many technical issues) on my note taking for the case file, 'especially given the number of issues the evidence presented and the issues your system experienced during the investigation'.   Easy fix on the report!

    Got another case back from admin review so I can go and release the evidence back to the Police Dept and the guy accused of being a pedo can likely be released because it 'appeared to be' a false claim. 

    Have 2 other cases on deck.  1 that should go quick (cellphone extraction and analysis) and 1 that has MORE evidence than the 73-pg one.

    tl;dr  Got a shit ton done while on vacation, came back to possibly putting 1 in jail and release one.  Thus far a good day.

    While I am still an infinite bundle of anxiety, my friend and I have been playing ffxv together (aka I do anything difficult and he crafts spells and thundagas everyone in water). After what felt like an eternity just trying to find this damn thing, I finally caught me a whopper of a fishums.

    Also hatched this little guy and nearly cried. Birbs are my favourite animal, and this reminds me of a gorgeous little chick hatchling that I helped out recently (she was a grumpy looking chick but was really anxious, but I’ve been coddling her and she’s much more stable now. I’ll get my friend to take a photo if I remember.)

    Today is over! Work is finished! I’m in a salon recreating a murder scene with spatters of bloody hair dye!

    I finally start my new job today and I'm a year ahead of everybody else in my schooling and should finish in approximately a month and a half.. versus the October 2019 GOAL date.. but this also depends on if they ever decide to ship my textbooks and give me access to the software I need to complete said school.

    In any case, however. HYPE.
