  • Oh my god we have tons of those back home! They're cute and harmless and they do the chik-chik-chik sounds I've gotten used to for most of my life. Too bad there's none of them here in the States.

    I like geckos.

  • But we do have geckos in the States. They're all throughout the southern US.
  • I'm in the north ;____;

    Hrm. I've not eaten kangaroo yet. What's it taste like?

    Like wallaby, but bigger.
  • Tastes like a gamey version of beef, it goes surprisingly well as a "rendang" dish. Yerps, I do know what that is despite being Canadian  /:)

  • Wallaby darned.

    I'm not really a fan of gamey meats. I'll have to try it someday though.

    Rich source of protein and relatively cheap though. I've only had it twice during my visit to Australia and hrm, it's really about countering the toughness of the meat and masking the gamey taste.

    Croc is saaallttyy. 'roo meat though is good so long as you cook is slowly otherwise it gets tough—no fat really.

    Not even sure this video is relevant but it does have to do with spiders.  I've never heard of a parasitic worm that uses spiders as hosts.

    DO NOT WATCH IF YOU NEVER EVER HOPE TO GET THE VIDEO OUT OF YOUR HEAD EVER!!!

  • When did this go from pictures of horrible spiders to pictures of horribly cute spiders?

    I'm more interested in why a spider like that was hanging around the guy's skirting board and him blasting it with bug spray. The video is fascinating!
