New bardic instruments

So, I have been wondering. How difficult would it be to have new instruments usable by the bard class? Currently we have lute, mandolin, harp, lyre, and flute.  However, we know a few other instruments such as fiddles, violins, and drums exist in Sapience. Would it be terribly difficult to have a few of those added to the list of instruments bards can buy and specialise in?

And wrong Section, sorry. If an admin could move it to the Golden Dais I'd be grateful! @Tecton @Lorielan

  • Additionally...could those awesome hurdy-gurdies be made to function as bardic instruments?
  • I want a bard who is lethal with the triangle.
  • For the discriminating Bard who has to deal with double-arm breaks:

  • Drum belongs to Shaman!
  • I keep saying that bards should be able to specialize in concert pianos and steam calliopes. Make it happen please!

    Yes please to calliopes!
  • Would be cool to see more variety among instruments and a bard dragging around a concert piano would be pretty awesome.

    or one of these...

Drums are as much an instrument as anything else, not to mention the fact that drums existed in the game for long before they started being used by shamans. I don't see why there can't be a class of drum that bards can specialise in.
